Ok course
It was great to get out and play. The course could use some work. Cart path wasn’t in good shape. The sands weren’t in good shape either. The greens were in good shape though. Overall, nice course.
Slowly getting better
Have played a fair amount of times at Marlton due to proximity to home area. Only play though when I can get a Hot Deal. Conditions getting better but fairways are still a bit rough. Wish more folks would treat the greens properly ( my group and I must have fixed 10 ball marks per hole in addition to our own....am NOT kidding!). Hoping the improvement trend continues
Nice round
Great staff reception person. Course traffic at noon was not busy, so pace of play was great. 18 holes in 2 hours 35 minutes. Walk on tee time with Golf Now & played as two-some with club member. Course conditions, not great, but far from bad. Greens were maintained well.
Good Value, Poor Conditions
When Marlton offers Golfnow rates of $14.00, it's hard to pass up. Even with poor course conditions from tee to green, it's a great opportunity to practice. Fairways need some work, as do the tee boxes. Greens played average.
Only getting worse
Wife enjoyed this course last year mainly because of great hot deals we could get. This time though, even she commented that it was the worse shape course she’s ever been on. Still had trees laying across course and even into fairway bunkers from storms over a month ago. Cart they gave us was filthy with trash still onboard from last users and seats were torn up to boot. Greens were in bad shape and bunkers were more like concrete than sand. Need I go on? Won’t be back unless someone tells me that they’ve really upped their game in a number of ways.
The course was in reel bad shape. I will not be back
the pace of play was good because there was nobody there. My friends recommended that I dont play but I already booked it had I known the condition I would not have booked it ( No Refund )
Great time
Had a great time playing Marlton today as I was almost the only guy out and conditions were good on this probably last good day of winter.
Marlton has seen better days
Marlton is a good course but has seen better days, no water on course seems worn. Makes you wonder if it will be open next year? Greens are in decent shape but fairways, tee boxes and sand traps are in rough shape.
Love playing this course
As a beginning golfer I am enjoying playing Marlton! The staff is Great! The course is challenging for me and the pace is great for this newbie to play !
Awful
Course was in such bad shape we just left and went to Oak Creek and played
Poor Conditions/Good Value
The tee boxes and fairways were shot, but the greens were nearly perfect. A little soft from recent watering but putted true. Will be back if I come across another Hot Deal.
conditions
I really like the course layout and variety of holes. the fairways are "blotchy", lots of thin bare spots. The greens could be good but there are a lot of inconsiderate golfers. The greens have too many unrepaired ball marks which ruin what could be excellent greens. The course is fun, there is a mix of really easy holes along with more difficult ones. With some more grass in fairways and repair of the greens this could be a good place to play. this used to be an excellent course to play
Fun course
Played after a rainy couple days course was in good shape
conditions of course
played last week, the greens were terrible. looks like they watered them 'cause there was more grass this time, but, greens are still bad--too many bald spots, and, many ball marks left by inconsiderate "golfers".
fairways still really bare. 90 degrees when I played and NO water in any of the water stands on the course and ball washers had little or no water
Nice course but needs greens work
Have played here a few times, mostly because of the rate offered by Golf Now.
conditions of course
haven't played here in a year--extremely disappointed. fairways and greens were pathetic. grass was thin and rare. only a couple of fairways had decent grass. greens were patchy with ball marks all over them. making a putt over 3 ft. was luck, less than 3 ft. still problematic. when I played this course in the past it was almost always in very good condition and enjoyable to play--not today. sad to see it this way
A good value
Great course to work on your game without breaking the bank. Greens not in best condition but course was clean, staff was friendly, and pace of play was on par.
almost had course to myself
Overall need more grass on fairways and tees. Bunkers need work. Great deal booking online. All employees very friendly
