some tough holes
great price- fairways are a little rough but the greens are nice-narrow fairways- bring extra balls
Very tight driving holes, some blind tee shots
Very tight driving holes, some blind tee shots. The Greens are small but the course was in good condition for the great value.
Course has a few interesting holes on the side of a mountain.
Good value for the price that I paid through Golfnow.com but I would not play there again at their regular posted rate. Course is narrow and it is impossible to find an errant ball that strays past the rough into the treeline.
some cool holes tight fairways. greens could be cut better
Great c ourse. Great deal needs minor improvements but worth the cost
Amazing back 9
Starts out with 2 par 5 on the front so good scoring opportunitys right off. Conditions were great for early in the season. The back 9 has amazing views and is in even better condition. It's very hilly so if you want to burn some calories it's a hike. There is a par 4 468 yards and you tee off on top of the mountain, you can easily drive it 350 yards. Great course. Looking forward to playing it again.
FUN- CHALLENGING--SCENIC COURSE
MANY NARROW HOLES, A COUPLE WIDE OPEN HOLES.
SEVERAL ELEVATED TEES TO A LOWER FAIRWAY.
HELPS TO HIT A STRAIGHT BALL HERE.
FAIRWAYS NEED SOME WORK. CARTPATHS NEED TO BE SMOOTHED OUT OR NEED 4 WHEEL DRIVE CARTS.
A tale of two 9's, but worth playing
For those of you who have not played here before, the front nine is (and always have been) substandard for playing surface and conditions. The tee boxes and greens are OK, and the fairways have improved over the years, but they're still not great. The back 9, however, is as nice as you could ask for a public course. It's a relatively narrow course that rewards ball placement off the tee. For the money, at the end of the day, this place is the best bang for the buck in WMass.
A nice variety of holes with varied difficulty
Enjoyed the many elevation changes, especially the 13th hole
