Layout is horrible
Condition of course was good but the layout is old school with many over marsh/swamp tee shots. Keep driver in the bag
Not a walking Course either as green to tees are far apart.
The experience of one round was enough for me.
Decent course with thought-provoking challenges
This isn't the best course you'll ever play, but it will certainly give you opportunities to use every club in your bag. Different challenges await you on every hole on a course that meanders through a local neighborhood. Walking can be a challenge, especially the very hilly back 9. No two holes are exactly alike, meaning you'll have decisions to make -- driver or long iron? Play it safe or be aggressive? The greens are decent and the course was in pretty good shape. It's tight, though. If you tend to spray the ball, being conservative is a good play -- especially with the nearby houses not too far from the ball's trajectory.
Difficult Course - No Groove
This is a difficult course, especially as a higher handicap player. Only a few times will you need a driver. Lots of tight/narrow landing areas and carries. Rarely are you hitting to an open extended fairway. Shot placement is critical. Unless you can control your shots well, prepare to loose balls or spend a lot of time looking for them. I found that you can't can't really get into a groove as each hole is different than the previous. Long ball hitters won't like it here. Many greens have fall offs around the fringe, so if you hit the green and just roll off the edge, you're looking at a sometimes blind uphill chip.
The front 9 has a lot of marsh carries with little forgiveness. One par 3 if you don't essentially hit the green, the ball is gone. The back 9 is very hilly and has a great deal of distance between holes in some cases. The front 9 is walkable, the back 9 only for those in great shape. I think many wouldn't be able to walk all 18.
In summary, there are two types of players for Bradford, those that will absolutely hate it because it is not forgiving and few long ball opportunities and those the will love it because it is not forgiving and requires careful shot placement.

Challenging
Great layout. Front nine and back nine are two different courses. You may want to keep driver in bag as the the fairways are narrow . Accurate shots are key.
Played during covid crisis so we were walking .. back nine are very hilly , be ready for a workout
Good times
highly scorable course if you’re drive and wedges are good...could be asking a lot. Would definitely come back, not a bad price for what you got. Didn’t play the back.
Love the challenge
One of my favorite courses! The layout and the challenge keeps bringing me back.

Red or yellow stakes
Loved the course. Loved the value. The attendant at the pay window was very nice. Only had one problem. I believe I was on the 5th tee box and there is a small pond on your right should you fade right. If it’s your first round on this course then you can not see this pond from the tee box. This pond had no stakes red or yellow to let you know this pond is there. Again, I now know for future play because I hit a decent drive and found the middle of the pond. Had there been stakes there I may have stayed left. The course is excellent and very challenging. I will be back.
What a dump
I played this course a few years back and thought it was well maintained but quirky. I realize that times are crazy but somebody needs to fire up a mower. Tees are in horrible shape, it appears no one is watering the course at all. I do not mind quirky layouts if a course is maintained. However, a combination of poor maintenance and quirky is not acceptable. If you are a moderate hitter of the ball you will only pull your driver twice during the round. It is target golf. Penalties for good shots with hidden hazards not on my gps or on theirs. Overall, I would not waste your money until they start mowing. Really is a shame.

Thank you for playing Bradford Country Club. We hope to see you again soon.
Great setup
You use all your clubs at Bradford. It's a course that rewards a smart player. If you want to hit driver off every tee this isn't the course for you. Placement golf is the name of the game here, if youv'e never played there GPS or a rangefinder is a must. Played front nine hit driver once, love this course.
Good deal
Played a not-so-quick nine, but thought course would be a good one later in the year. Paired with two outstanding HS grads-to-be who, like me, are struggling a bit with their games. Greens are very fast; probably more challenge than we needed on that day
GOD AWFUL Tee Boxes & Poor Layout
First off, there are a few really nice holes. Most of the holes make no sense. When do you ever tee off with a 6 iron, then 5 iron into a par 5? There a few holes where you need to hit the same club from the fairway, that you hit from the tee. The fairways are too short! It’s kind of a joke!
You could not find a spot on the tee where you weren’t standing in a divot. Btw crabgrass, on the tee boxes? Really?
Some of the worst tees, I’ve ever seen.
My favorite had to be 13, where it appeared someone was getting a lesson. There must have been over 30 balls on and around the green. I had search through them to find my ball. This was in the middle of the day. Really, WTF!
I wanted to give it one star but, no course should get that.
