Winter Conditions - Good Play
Very playable for a February 24 day in Massachusetts. 55 deg., course in pretty good shape, albeit a little wet in some spots, but overall a great experience. Light rain for about 20 minutes during a 2 h round.
No carts as expected, nice easy walk for 9.
That fact that I was out playing golf in February, after a light snow a few days before, in just a light zip top, long pants and no gloves was pretty sweet.
Been to this course many times and same old story. Lack of maintenance through out. Tee boxes full of broken tees from weeks of play and divots not filled. Seems like there is no maintenance being done on the box’s and some areas of the fairways. Slow play as always , almost 6 hours with no ranger ever in site. Spend your 92$ somewhere else.
Fantastic Course
First time playing here - no complaints at all. Tee boxes were in good shape, fairways, roughs and greens were in great condition. Will be booking again.
Wonderful Day
Pace of play was great. I really enjoy the golf course but if it takes 5 hours to play it I will not. So, the pace is the main thing for me.
We were a foursome, with two of us shooting in the 80's,, two in the low 90's. We played "ready golf" and moved right along. Finished in 4 hours exactly. Very enjoyable.
this course is always great place to play. we enjoy it and the staff is very friendly.
Spring Golf
With only a couple of exceptions, course was incredibly dry after all the rain the past two weeks.
Course management
The course Superintendent and staff do an unbelievable job to make playing a joy.
Can't wait till I play again Friday!
Great Value at Olde Scotland Links
The course was in great shape considering how wet its been. With spring rates in effect it is a great value. Love the layout as it is an easy walking course. Nice quick greens, little bumpy BUT in really good shape overall for April.
Great Place
My foursome discovered OSL two years ago. We each drive about 70 miles to play it, which we do often. In season the conditions are very good, it's a fun and interesting layout and the staff is great.
