Chicopee Country Club

Staff made us go out 10 minutes before our tee time so older regulars could play together. Didnt even give us a chance to use putting green. Staff was rude to me and helped ithers before me probably just cause I was the only young person around. Carts are aweful would constantly stop even when driving on the cart path. Aweful day.

First time playing. I was pleasantly surprised by the conditions, cost, and especially the quality of the greens. Definitely going to return.

Nice layout and the course was in excellent condition. Carts also had GPS, which was something that is getting rarer and rarer.
Unfortunately, play was backed up - there were three foursomes backup up on a tee ahead of us, making for long waits for everyone behind them.
Also, carts were area restricted, but we were never informed. For example, on the first hole (a par 4), we were attempting to cross the fairway at 90 degrees to get to our balls (both had hit to the right side of the fairway, with the cart path on the left), but our cart got abruptly stopped in the middle of the fairway with a message that we had entered a restricted area and we have to put in in reverse to leave the restricted area.
Besides causing considerable embarrassment, we were also confused - did this mean all holes were cart path only? The course was not wet and it had not rained in days. We had no idea what to think. Fortunately, some members caught us from behind while we were waiting on the groups in front of us (mentioned earlier), and we asked them about it. They explained that all par 3s (understandably) were the only holes that were cart path only outside of the first hole. The cart restriction burned us again a few holes later, as a cart path circled around the green. After we finished the hole, we got into our cart and it would not move - no message - just would not move forward. After playing with forward and reverse, turning on and off, we finally called the pro shop, thinking we needed another cart. They had us put the cart in reverse and backup until we reached the front of the hole, at which point the cart would allow us to go forward this time - the Proshop said not all carts were programmed to display the message on all holes (why the well-travelled path we were on was restricted we have no idea). To top that off, a couple holes later were were about to head down a paved cartpath, only to be warned by them members (who were always on top of us due to the delay ahead) yelled out not to take that paved cartpath, as the cart would be stalled - how would somebody who has never played this course have any idea?
All of this could have been avoided with a little bit of communication from the Proshop or the starter. Unfortunately, both the slow pace and the unpredictable cart restriction detracted from what was a nice course and what could have been a perfect day.

This was the first time playing the course, and it was in very good condition. A nice track for fun, not too tough, with fairly flat greens. This is a good value course, though the staff could have been a little friendlier regarding reserved tee times, etc.

Greens are perfect and fast, hold a shot great!!! Fairways were immaculate if you hit them. Staff got us out early super friendly. Going back as soon as I can.

Course conditions were great and we played the 7a shotgun and got around in 4hrs. Excellent lunch after. Wish I played better but that's me and not the course. Still stinks they had to convert 12 into a par 3 because of neighbors who moved in after the course was built. Turn that back to a par 4 and the course would be better.

I have played this course a handfull of times this year already because of the beautiful the layout and conditions are. Worth every penny and will continue to play here. If you are looking for a great hot dog at the turn as well this is your place!

The course is in good shape, recovered well, still growing in. Greens are good, a bit slow. This course is fun to play, good challenges for you, some must carry and blind shots. Put it on your list.

Had a great time playing the 7a shotgun at chicopee. Course was in good shape for early season golf. The course is well run and we were done under 4hrs. Had a really good chicken sandwich at the 19th hole. It was the first good scoring round I've had there as the course goes a bit left for my fade game but it worked well on this day! Enjoy chicopee!

Really enjoy this course. It’s well-maintained and highly affordable. Nice layout too. Like many municipal courses, it can get a bit crowded and pace of play is impacted as a result.
