Good Course
condition of the course was overall very good considering the hot dry weather the area has been having. Fairways and greens are in good shape. Just a nice course to play set with mountains in the background.
I paid only booking fee,not greens & cart fees. I drove 1 & 1/2 hrs to get there and was 20 min early. When I arrived, there were 18 to 20 carts lined up at # 1 and 12 carts at # 10 ! I was told to just get in line to play and I absolutely will not play 18 holes of golf in exteme heat taking 7 hrs to play ! I will never waste my time or gas in my car driving up there to that course ever again !!!
Fun
You will use all of your clubs in the bag. Not too long but a great challenge. Put thia one on your list.
Great course. Need a Marshall on busy days.
Great course with pretty tough Turtle back style greens. Played July 3rd so it was really busy. 5 and a half hour round but didn’t mind so much because the surroundings and course are beautiful. Fun and fairly challenging place to play for this 10 handicapper. Will def. be back.
Great experience
The people are wonderful, accommodating, and treat you great. Course was in great condition and fun to play.
Great layout
I always enjoy playing this course even tho it is a one hour drive from home.. would play more often it it was closer....love the layout and challenging greens.. putt good and you can score...very friendly staff...will definetly return...
Great course
I had a great experience here. Staff was great, course was good condition. And the view was beautiful. Was a challenging course as well
Good Experience
This course was in great shape. The greens are crowned domes on most holes, but very fair and hold approach shots well due to the softness. The course over all was not long, but really like that the par 3,s are all strong distances most between 175 and 210. The tree lined fairways are the real challenge on this course, but no other hazards really in play. Some elevation change, but no hole more than a club or two different on calculation of approach. I do wish they at lease had a starter on #1 and you have to be careful for beginners spraying the ball all over with no “four” warning. No beer in clubhouse and did see any water on the course. Get out early before the hackers and you will have a nice pace Greens were nice, but could be better if folks would repair their ball marks. All in all it was worth my drive from K-town and views were amazing. I don’t think they see beer, which could be a deal breaker for some. A strong 3 stars.
Halfbaked57 i never comment on someone else's comments but, your comments are not helpful and your rating is not truthful and unfair! In fact its not accurate at all. I too played this course on the same day and it is always in great condition. i see you rated this course POOR in every category.
As for 7 hours, completely inaccurate again, ive played hundreds of rounds on this course and it has NEVER taken 7 Hours. most rounds are just under 4 hours in actual time.
Reviews are suppose to help the public when looking for a place to play. Reviews are not there for upset folks to Slander Good Hard Working Business.
This course is usually very busy and has great rates so if you save your gas money and don''t take up any tee times there it will leave more space for the rest of us who appreciate the course. But it will be your loss for skipping out on playing one of the better courses around.
i also would recommend you call their pro shop if you had an issue. id bet they will do something to make you feel better about what ever it was that upset you.
just dont hide behind a keyboard and post lies and POOR ratings accross the board when you know that your not justified in doing so.
