Very well maintained. Beautiful views. Gets better every year!
Great Municipal Course
Great day of Fall golf on an underrated municipal course. Pace of play was excellent and course plays around 6000 yards from the white tees. Greens recently aerated but still putt fairly true.
Staff is friendly
Tight course, good shape.
This course is tight, lots of trees lining the holes, some look like tunnels. The course was wet due to heavy rains the day before, several bunkers filled with water, lots of wet areas. Once dried, it would play nicely.
It is challenging especially from the back tees, not very long but you have to place your shots.
Fun to play.
This course has a grumpy old guy checking you in.
We arrived about 11:15 (July 17) for a 12:00 o’clock tee time The guy checking us in had a bad attitude from the start . We were set to play at 11:40 waiting at the first tee box with no one ahead of us,but for some reason this guy insisted we wait until our exact tee time or until some other player that was late showed up so he could send him out with us . This guy was unreasonable and unfriendly and should stay away from dealing with the public. He seems to have a problem with people using the benefits of Golfpass. Will play there again but hopefully won’t have to deal with that guy again.
Great value
Course was in good shape. There were several very wets areas but that was due to the heavy rains from the day before. Avowal very good experience and would definitely go back.
Great Muni
I previously was a memer at Gardner.
It’s a great Municipal course it’s in great shape, well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful off course amenities are good as well. I always play here a few times a year and highly recommend playing it
The Secret is Out
Probably the best value course in central MA, the parking lot was full on a Tuesday. Tee to green, conditions are very good. Got around in less than four hours, mostly foursomes. Only complaint is the practice green and driving range are inconveniently across the road where carts are not permitted.
Good course, recovering
The course is in good shape, but it has some rough greens and fairways that could use help. Overall it is good and fun to play, back nine has more hills and a challenge if walking.
Beauitful course, Built into the hills around a lake!
Very fun, Easy holes with some twists! Love the hills and layout! Back 9 is very scenic. Would play again!
Wet course, no carts, playable.
The course got lots of rain and was soggy, no carts allowed, walking only. It is still playable, 1 to 2 days it will dry out and back to normal. Greens aerated and recovering.
Good shape, aeration recovery
The course is good, most leaves are cleared and there are some repair areas being seeded. Greens are good, but have been aerated and recovering.
Worth the Drive
Mint conditions, friendly staff, and a sub-four hour round all led to a great round at GMGC. The course isn’t overly long and the fairways are wide but there is enough variety in the holes to keep it interesting. Haven’t played here in a few years so it was nice to see they are maintaining it well. We will be back.
