You get your money's worth
The course is located in a nice quiet area. As you pull in you drive on crushed gravel which makes you think they'll be paving soon. It's been like this for over 3 years. As you walk out of the car you head to the clubhouse ,which is an old trailer. ( now you wonder why it's so cheap to play) .If you need to buy balls feel free to purchase what's there, which is typically used dollar grab balls consist of top flite and range balls...Once your on the course , you notice that there are more geese and geese droppings on the ground than there is good grass. The only good thing about this course is that it's open and a good place to bring beginners so that they don't get discouraged losing x amount of balls. Bunkers are never raked and greens usually in rough shape. But for $45 on a weekend for 18 and a cart it's a good deal. It's golf
The greens were nice 👍🏻
The moment I checked in for our tee time the man at the desk did not even great me just “you will not be able to play all 18.” Why would you let us book 18? This course is a little pricey compared to other courses in the area. Pulling up to the tee box I was rushed by the most ignorant women I have ever met. Screaming at me that my group was on the tee box. We had five minutes. Okay I get that we may have been running late but I saw a group already waiting so was not rushing over. Again I approach the white and blue but we are a threesome of women so I’m being yelled at I’m on the tee box so I go around the group of men who hit from white. Without being told one of them was with us. So I go to tee off and I am being screamed at to get out of the way! I was just told multiple times by this women I was on the box. Just overall terrible experience from the start. This women should not work with talking to people. Not the first unpleasant time I’ve had with her. Communication from the staff would have been nice. The women in clubhouse/bar very nice, cart girl was nice and the young man that came to get us when the carts needed to be in when we only got to 14 was nice. Greens were very nice but they made no effort to clean off any leaves or pine needles. I get it is fall but some greens it was basically covered.
Smooth Round of Golf
On saturday I was lucky to get a round that completely avoided the rain. I played alone and was able to play pretty quick. Although the 4 some in front of me would not let me play through. Course is in great shape, the greens were fast and fair. The employees who are usually jerks were not at the course, or they were not interacting with customers which also made the day a good one.
1st timer
I started on the back 9 first so didn’t get the normal flow. Course was in good shape but they had just air rated the greens so they didn’t roll normally. Played the back tees and gave you plenty of options to hit whatever you wanted
Fred the Ranger
Fun course with some challenging holes.
Fred the ranger was the coolest
Good layout and conditions
I would definitely recommend this course to anyone looking for an interesting track, with challenging but not too hard conditions. The off course amenities in the trailer were weak and need a major upgrade but the price was right.
Great Course but Lacks Customer Service
Just like the title says, I love the course, the greens are always in excellent shape and despite the rain the course holds up well. My biggest issue is with the staff and the members at the course. Bob the starter and the Greenskeeper are the only people who are friendly. The rest of the staff are real jerks 90% of the time. They've yelled at me, they've yelled at my wife. This golf course gives off the vibes that unless your a 50+ year old man then they don't really want you there. Don't get me started on the members either. They think they own the course (Maybe they should just make it private if that's the case). They're constantly screaming at each other on the porch outside the 18th green. They cut you in line to get drinks at the turn. It's all really unfortunate because I love to play here, and I'm forced to keep coming back because the course is that awesome. Just wish management would encourage their employees act more like Bob and tell their members to quit getting drunk and be respectful to the others trying to play the course.
Nice course
Enjoyed the course layout and friendly staff. Great pace the three times I have played.
