Course and greens played nice
Haven't played here in 20+ years. Considering the drought and extremely hot summer the course was in pretty good shape and the greens were in very good condition.
Great Morning for a Rd of golf on an excellent course!
The course was the best I've played this yr. Greens were in tournament shape. Fairways were well kept. The course is overall a bit narrow from the back tee's, but fun and challenging. Hit em' semi-straight and you'll enjoy your round!
Great place, very friendly.
I golfed alone for 18 holes while my wife drove my cart. We just love doing things together. I didn't marry her to leave her at home. It was a great pace. My 18 holes took a little over 3 hours and 20 minutes. Not bad for a senior, I'm 64 years young. I just love playing this game.
Sonja and Joe B.
P.S. Please add a sign on the 15th green to where the 16th tee box is. New golfers have no Idea.
Course was really dry
Course was incredibly dry and hard. The course layout and views were amazing. Overall positive experience
Wycoff
It’s been 15 years since I’ve played at Wycoff prior to today and the facility and the course has improved tremendously.
The course does have some burnt grass on some fairways like many other golf courses this time of year but the greens are immaculate. The course is hilly based upon the location on Mount Tom. All in all, this was a good experience and I would go back especially for the value and time it took to play 18 holes with almost know waiting.
Challenging for a first timer
Staff was great, carts were good. Fairways and greens were good. Cart paths need some help. For female golfers this course played long par 4’s I liked the challenging layout. Would play here again.
Very friendly
I've played alot of local courses this year and this place has by far the friendliest staff.
Pleasant atmosphere
check in and hand cart keys and advised to have a great time
Enjoyable round
Course was in good condition. Small greens, well manicured. Narrow fairways. Challenging but fun to play. Will play here again.
Nice place
It's been a while since I've played, but greens were nice and challenging and rolled smooth when they were not near an aeration. Some challenging and thoughtful shots into greens. Had a good time, played well, and hit the ball well off the tee. Very easy to get off track if this is not you. Postulated that a couple holes near the highway were trimmed to put in I-91, but overall the layout is familiar and playable. A couple odd blind shots, but mostly straight forward and enjoyable
Classic layout
First time playing. Small greens, smooth, soft and not too fast which was perfect for the style of course, classic layout, lots of layup holes, narrow driving areas, lots of fades off of tee boxes, but generally comfy with clear landing areas, for the most part, and approachable greens.
Fairways were dryer than dry as were the rough but generally playable with longer rough thick with some burnt out patches on fairways and off, but a very enjoyable round and enjoyable layout. Look forward to playing it a second time if possible.
Surprisingly challenging!
This was a fun short course with a premium on accuracy. Will play it again.
Nice course located at the base of Mt. Tom
Played Wycoff CC for th first time today, super friendly and accommodating staff. Course is rather short however very challenging. Greens are well manicured and challenging as well. Great value for a great round of golf.
Semi-private now
Fun old style Donald Ross course.Greens were in excellent shape but the course conditions overall were poor. They seem to have given up on most of th traps. Support this course by paying them a visit! The course is challenging and fun to play.
Wednesday morning
I enjoyed this course as it was the first time I have ever played here. I am a 9 so I played the tips and it helped make some holes more of a stretch. I say that because the blue tees (I saw no whites) were pretty short as the course is not too long. It does require some target play and I thought the best part of the course is the approach into many tricky greens. Few straight or level putts and the greens were in really nice shape. Guys at the clubhouse were great and welcoming.
the drawacks- cart paths were an adventure. I realize how tough it is once you lose these and they wash out but they need some serious work
fairways were pretty good but I found that i rolled it over a few times
unfortunately the immediate rough on some holes was quite spotty - only moved to grass a couple times as some lies were simply unfair or unplayable- guess the PGA won't send my check this month after reading that
I like the course - If you are a straight hitter and can putt you could really score here
beautiful scenery the whole round
