Twin Springs Golf Course
About
Twin Springs Golf Course sprawls across a lush green meadow that formerly served as a dairy farm. There are some gently rolling hills but it's still a very walkable course and the elevations offer glimpses of the beautiful Mount Wachusett in the distance. The nine-hole course is modest in length and player friendly enough for beginners, but beware of the small, sloped greens, which can be tricky for even the best golfers. The springs that the golf course gets its name from provide water hazards on nearly every hole. There are two signature holes, the par-3 fourth and the par-4 sixth, both of which are classic risk-reward challenges. Twin Springs Golf Course's 140-yard fourth hole starts at the top of a hill and then tumbles down to a wide, shallow green that is guarded in front by a brook. This hole can be especially tough if it's a windy day.

Poststamp Greens Make for Fun Family Golf
Pleasant experience overall...after this week (and into July) this place will be in peak condition and would highly recommend for first time/beginners...great place for kids...staff does a great job in all areas and go out of their way to accommodate...Par 3's are exceptionally challenging...not to take away from a couple of interesting par fours...good nine hole track!!!
Sunday Morning
Arrived at 830AM for 842 Tee time and was advised there were no carts avail. Tee time would be delayed. There were 2 groups ahead so we had to wait for 4 carts to come in. Tee time actually turned out to be 905. Not bad...Everthing else was good. Nineth fairway needs attention, but a good value for 3 of us.
Nick
Good executive style 9 hole course to go get some swings.
Good course for the money
Good course conditions were good.
Would have like the rough around the greens cut down a little more. Overall great course, friendly staff and pace of play was very good
Better than a driving range
Played this course for the first time. It is December so this review is based on that. Course has some nice holes that require decent shots to score well. Staff was less than friendly but I've had this experience at various times using golf now . It seems some courses resent that you use golf now even though they offer it! Course conditions were barely acceptable but like I said earlier it's December golf.
May Golf in November
Just a few days from December but you wouldn't have known it by the weather. 65 degree day in late November. Greens were, and I'm not exaggerating, in excellent condition and fairly quick. Fairways are average at best even in June but the greens and traps are always very well kept. Enough twits and turns to keep it interesting along with a few greens that are as small as a one car garage, but that's what makes it interesting. Nice practice green and driving range. Nice pub for after your round. Easy to walk if you choose. Just a couple holes that go up and down to get the blood flowing.
Solid Golf Course
Pretty decent golf course considering the rates. Short course with no par 5s makes it a fairly quick round. Tee boxes aren't in the best shape but the greens and fairways are maintained well. A cart is worth the investment since the course is fairly hilly through the first five holes. Booked my tee-time through GolfNow app which made things a lot easier. Not the most challenging course but ther are a few challenging holes and green locations. Awesome scenic view from #6 tee box. Overall a good experience.
Great place to play
I would highly recommend it,
Nice course, great price, and friendly workers.
Great little course
For the prices u find on here its a great little course. It is very straight forward with alot of just long straight shots. There are two holes both par 3 ' s but they are alot of fun. It's not a really difficult course but it is great for players of all levels and ages.
nice course for a quick nine
This was a fun and fairly easy couse. It was well kept, the fairways were recently cut, the only disappointment was finding out the greens were being worked on , but that shows they care about the maintenance. The couse is wide open, well marked. I recommend it to beginners as it is a forgiving setup. I did not eat there so I can't comment on the food but their beer is as the sign said cold.nice eating/bar area. We only played nine at a nice leisurely pace. Great view of Mt. Wachusett .
Best $7 ever spent!
I played this nine hole course, which is about 3 miles from my house, for $7, which included a cart! It was a super special from Golf Now! The course was in outstanding condition and was short in distance but challenging with the layout and the size of the greens. I would highly recommend playing this nine hole layout!!
Nice little course
Great Deal , the course is a little gem tucked into the Bolton countryside
Great deal!
I'm not sure why everyone is bashing this course. In my opinion, the greens and fairways were in great condition (though, the tee boxes still need some work), and there were some challenging pin locations. Not crowded, though I did play through one group of 4. Friendly front desk. Cheap driving range, $4 for 30 warm-up balls.
stay away
I payed 10$ an wasted 3 hrs of my time. Nothing good at all.I would say more negative things but I am trying to forget I ever went there.so I am letting it go.:-) :-)
Not a bad course for the money
Some greens in bad shape and roped off also a temporary green on one hole.
This course is atrocious
Would not recommend this course to anyone. Half of the holes did not have playable greens (there were not even flag pins in the green). Layout of the course is extremely simple. Tee boxes were not existent. No yard/distance markers. Course is not taken care of at all. I'm shocked that anyone who has played here would go back again. Don't book a round here.
STAY AWAY
Thought I was getting a bargain and by no means was expecting to walk on to Pebble Beach, but this place was a joke!!! 4 of the 9 holes had temporary greens that were moved to the middle of the fairway. And those that acruall had greens had the tee boxes moved to the fairway. The fairway itself was more of a short-cut ruff. They should be paying you to play here! The course patrons weren't much of a step up either. Twice I was almost his by a stray ball with no call of fore. I WILL NEVER GO BACK.
Beer Cans on Course
Beer cans and bottles riddled the course. Greens were the smallest I've seen as far as total area. If you find this course difficult it'll only be because of the small greens. As far as the course goes, I will not be going back. There are plenty of cheap 9 hole courses to play in central MA and this one wasn't worth the 20 minutes drive.
Very sorry about you finding empty beer cans on the course. Looking at the date of your visit it appears you played the day after a glow ball golf tournament. No excuse, but it is hard to clean up during darkness. Hopefully we had things cleaned up later that day.
I will make this offer ... Come back and for every beer can you find on the course and bring in I'll deduct $1 from your green fees ... and pay you the .05 deposit! If you find none I'll take $5 off regardless because of your previous experience.
We are very sorry you didn't enjoy your visit. We pride ourselves on being friendly and affordable. Looking at the date of your visit we can understand our comments. A rough winter left 3 of our greens essentially dead. We did what we could to get as much of the course open as possible and adjusted our rates accordingly (nearly 50% off) knowing our product wasn't where we'd like it to be.
Would love to have you back out for a complimentary 9 holes and you'll see a significantly improved product. Our greens are all alive, healthy, rolling good and have flags in them. Hope to see you here and please reference this post for a free 9 holes.
