A long par-4, the second has an open driving zone. This beautiful hole also shows the secluded, parkland nature of Tekoa. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/10/2022
-
Hole three, par-3: Tekoa is a “Golden Age” course, and this forced carry over the pond may be the only real nod to modern design. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/10/2022

At seven (looking back over the hole here), you’ll first encounter the double green shared by this hole and the sixteenth. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/10/2022

Twelve: The towering pines on this par-5 (along with those of the 13th) appear to reach as high as the columns in a medieval cathedral. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/10/2022

Seventeen is a long and difficult par-4 stretching to 445 from the back tees. It also doglegs right–at a 90 degree angle. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/10/2022

Pars are well earned at the long eighteenth, a par-3. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/10/2022

Solid place to play, greens are in excellent condition
Greens were perfect. Met up with a member to play with during my round because I was a single, he was a great friendly guy who made the round even more enjoyable.
Fast greens
Fast greens and a few interestingly designed fairways made this a fun course to play. The value was excellent for the course conditions and amenities.
Safari Adventure
The Safari Club kicked of the 2018 season as usual at Tekoa Country Club in Westfield.. Course superintendent A J was as usual friendly and supportive of the Safari Club...
This is a relatively flat course but don’t let that fool you... this course plays long....the greens were a little slow but the course as usual was in great shape...
This course, a short drive from Springfield,Mass is well worth the drive!
Opening Safari Event
EJ's Hospitably was great as usual and the course in its usual great shape...the greens were recently punched but should be perfect after some rain and watering.... cant wait to go back
Safari Club Outing
We are off and running. The start of the Safari Club. Many old friends got together after the never ending winter. The course was in very good shave. Although my game wasn't. Everything was ready when we got there Grate staff. Had fun.
Hidden Gem
Played the course with the Safari Club. Overall the course was in good shape from T-box to the green. Greens were a little slower than normal but putted true. As usual the staff was friendly and helpful.
Great Value
With the tough 2018 winter season. The course was in great shape. Will definitely play it again.
Classic Muni
Good staff we went out behind a slow foursome but we wound up doing the back nine at our own pace. It is a tight layout hence the title . Good value for money and very nice people there as members and staff.
Beautiful course
Course was in great condition. Price was perfect. Pace of place was good also. Friendly staff.
Don't waste your money!
Tee boxes horrible, fairways are worse than the first cut of rough at most courses. Really bad fairways! Greens were good, not too fast, not too slow. Golf carts are the slowest in Western Ma.
Pine needles
Half the greens were completely covered with pine needles, making it unable to putt or chip.
Not a real big deal for the staff to to remove them, but no effort was made.
great challenge, good condition
The course is in very good condition, greens really nice, interesting holes, staff friendly, definitely a good value. Only negative was the nearby shooting range.
A safari Club Favorite
Please go play this track again! The new owners have done a fantastic job of turning this original D Ross Golf Course around back to its original design. Great Conditions and fun to play for sure.
Good value for the money
The course was enjoyable. Thee only downside was the course is very tight with holes and greens sometimes overlapping.
Hidden gem
EJ and his Staff keep the track in very good shape overall a very interesting layout in good shape the greens are pure and fast.
Worth the ride to Westfield for sure.
Tekoa
We enjoyed playing there very much. The only downside was that the greens had been recently aerated and the grass had not completely grown back in. It was a great value, well worth trying the course, and we will enjoy playing there again. The river is close by for some beautiful scenery.
