Wet and off season.
Sorry the bar was closed after a chilly and damp round.
Overall a very nice experience. It was sad that the first hole was reduced to a par 3. I liked even when I did play as well as I expected and hoped.
Carts: only one Player gets a cart with GPS and course lay out the others get old carts.
Very overpriced
Greens extremely slow. 1st hole under construction. Gave us a gas cart without even a windshield!! Even though there were electric carts with gps right next to us. Said they were charging or not working??? Only restrooms facilities on course were 2 poorly maintained portspotties. Not what you would expect after paying $250 for twosome!! Will say restaurant was very good.
Extremely nice
The course was one of the best courses that I have played. The greens we very fast and challenging, I would definitely play it again.
Great golf but !!!!!!
The golf course is great but the cart limit boundaries are not friendly for older golfers. The bouse houses smell snd are not taken care of. With the virus here these places need social attention all the time.
Disappointing Conditions
Having played the course before, the conditions were disappointing for the cost. The 1st hole is being re-worked, with little accommodation for the player or relief on the greens fee. GPS equipped electric carts were also not available. This is not the course I have played before.
First hole under construction. Otherwise, a nicely laid out course. Greens were aerated a week prior but still in good shape considering.
Decent value for money. However, we noticed much nicer carts w gps (which would have been a great help) when we were through with the round. The course was not crowded due to weather forecast so the nicer carts would have been available. That was disappointing. Otherwise, a decent value and good golf.
Great Course, but prices should be adjusted
It is a great track, but with the first hole under construction turned into a 100 yard par 3 on a mat on dirt, and the bunker condition (probably due to rain), and no range open. The price should be discounted in my opinion. Otherwise I do love the course and is usually in great condition
Value for money
Best public course around. 1st hole is a mess. Rest of course is great. Pacing very good. Making the best of a tough year.
Cape Club
Very nice course great Pace Of play. $35 per person for a cart was a big time turn off however
great day
except for the construction along hole #1 the course was in great shape. the bunker sand was soft "just like Augusta" as they say. however they gave us a gas cart when they had very nice new electric carts with coolers. are those for members? seemed to be for anyone BUT we were not offered one. in fact the cary kid tried to give me one with no windshield! i said its rainy..and I want a windshield. I would think he'd have offered us a nicer cart! the pro shop had very little and no sale signs. i asked if stuff was on sale but was ignored. very pretty building but the staff needs some work on their attitudes! i would play again for the course, not the facility
Fantastic Experience
Great golf course, friendly staff. You haven't played all the gems on Cape until you check this one off.
Great Track
Would definitely recommend getting out to the Cape Club. Great track, well maintained (except hole #1 which is dealing with some construction). Course offers lots of tricky, imaginative shots. Par 5s can be narrow and long, so have to be true with your driver.
Got a Golf Now hot deal rate - and admittedly not sure if this affected my experience - but I was told the rate did not include a cart and in order to get a driving cart it would be $35 a person, which frankly seems a bit absurd. Maybe I just didn't get a cart because the system has not caught up to the new COVID-19 regulations with carts available and golf now still has the rate listed as walking but thought this could've been remedied. If the usual rate includes carts, then okay but if it really is $35 a cart, I don't think I would play here again. The first hole is under construction. Conditions are certainly good, but not excellent like you might expect for a rate of $100ish a round. Worth a try, but the price is steep for what I got.
Not worth the money at all
They want the same money as a pinehills or Waverly and isn't even on the same planet as those. Save a few bucks and go play the brookside club 10 minutes away.
What a beautiful Course
Besides the work that is going on on the first tee this Golf Course is amazing. In excellent condition and very challenging. I will put this on my top 10 Best courses in Massachusetts
Excellent layout from the gold tees
Play from the gold or blue tees if you want to play it the way it was designed! Awesome elevated tees and layout,
(Helps that i got an eagle of a tree and two birdies!)
