Great Value
I decided to take a buddy up on hitting Woodlawn. The greens were challenging and the course was one of the best manicured for the paid price. I would highly recommend this course to any golfer looking to challenge themselves on greens that you actually have to play a break!
Po Dunk
Out of the 30+ courses I’ve played this year, this is bar far the worst. Drove an hour on a “HOT DEAL” just to have the guy in front of us pay $32. Don’t waste your time or money. Wouldn’t play it for $20 if I lived next door.
putting
The greens are very challenging. That might be an understatement. Fun course. Plenty of hills.
Nothing wrong here
Course is in good shape, fairways are nice, and greens roll true. Course layout is fun and offers some fun drive-able par 4s and isn't very difficult. For the price of walking 18 for $19, its the best deal in town. I would play more often, but its a decent trip up that way. Overall the course does offer a nice putting green attached to the 9th green (a little weird and something i've never seen but is fine by me). No driving range, and clubhouse is pretty old but gets the job done. Drinks are cold, decently priced and check in is quick. Overall for a quick 18, conditions are good and a course i would recommend. Is it anything to definitely make a trip for or is it a amazing course, n. Woodlawn is a great daily player if local.
Quality of course.
The people are pretty friendly but this course is the equivalent of a cow pasture. It was a much nicer course years ago. It has really gone down.
Amazing greens
This was one of the nicest courses I have been to within a 45 mile radius of Toledo...I will definitely be going back there. The greens are astonishing
Improvements seen over last year
New carts! Smooth riding, clubs don’t fall off, upolstery not torn
Fairways and greens in good shape, play moved right along
October and Golfing
Course was in great shape for October, no complaints and will definitely play again
Challenging course, very undulating fairways, very dry and hard to put a tee in the ground
Carts are horrible, my husband tried 8 carts before he found one with a parking break, the last time the one we had did not have a break. My clubs fell off 3 times during the round as they would not lock solidly, the pencil would not stay in the clip, several times had trouble getting it going to go to the next hole, had to pump and pump it!
Nice golf course
I had a great time at this golf course. The staff was very friendly. The greens were well manicured.
Lots of blind shots and holes close together but nice course
I was concerned for other golfers lives on this course the way I have played lately! The holes are packed pretty tight together. This course is good for the average golfer. A low handicap would probably eat it up. I usually shoot anywhere from mid 80s to mid 90s but shot over 100 on this course. It is short but lots of blind shots and it just didn't fit my game. I hit one drive that was great off the tee but I suspect went in a pond. The sign showed what appeared to be traps on the right and left side of fairway but they were ponds. Would have been nice to know how far it was to those obstacles, but I am not Tiger Woods and don't have my own caddy! You also won't get many flat putts on the greens.
Regardless, if you want a reasonably priced round on an interesting layout, this is your place. Nice clubhouse and friendly staff. I would play here again!
