Awesome Experience
The course was in great shape. My brother and I really enjoyed our 18 holes at this wonderful course.
I would play this course again
First time playing this course with wife. We enjoyed the layout and scenery. As with any course, would play certain holes differently now having played it once. There is some minor burning of several of the fairways. Greens are relatively small but well manicured.
Did not see any rangers on the course and could have used some as we made the turn and a five some (three adults and two young men) played in front of us quite slowly the remainder of the round. I believe the three some picked up there children at the pool at the turn. I know this is a county club but course etiquette and pace of play should be enforced or encouraged to all..
Thank you so much for the feedback! We will definitely have a marshal come around more often. We are glad you enjoyed your time with us and look forward to seeing you again. Be sure to like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter for special online promotions and offers. Thanks again!
First Time at AA Country Club
We got a smoking hot deal for 18 holes with cart at just $16 each from Golf Now. AA is a nice club, but not up to the standard of most private courses. Nonetheless, we had a great round. No beverage cart and the pool-side snack bar was a big disappointment. Didn't even have a bun for our hot dogs. Sand traps were very bad, but the overall condition of the course otherwise was great. I will go again. Especially for $16!!
great playing conditions
Will play again this year, course in great shape. Easy to get to.
Unique Course
Golfnow offered a good deal, so we decided to try a new course. There was a chance of rain and we practically had the course to ourselves. The course takes advantage of the hills in Ann Arbor. The front nine is more traditional, and the back nine is the more modern of the two. It is nestled within a neighborhood, but the houses are far enough from the course that they should not come into play.
The fairway was in good condition. The rough was a fair length. The greens were in excellent condition with very few ball marks that were not repaired. They ran true and were faster than they appeared. The one negative was the condition of some of the tee boxes....the grass was long and ground uneven.
Overall, it was a very enjoyable round of golf. Good value.
Nice
Honestly it's a nice course. It's not closed off and it's in a open community so your playing in people's backyard but the greens, fairways and rough was decent. Price was only $10 so well worth the money. If you like to look at really beautiful homes I would suggest thus place.
Nice course in Ann Arbor
The course is in nice condition; tees, fairways, and the greens. No complaints at all.
Nice improvement since last year!
Great Value
Unfortunately for us they airated 11 of the holes. Couple strange holes but ghats what makes courses different.
I plan to play this when the greens are in normal playing conditions.
Great day and golfing experience!
This was my first time golfing at AACC, the staff were friendly, the facilities was great and the members were gracious. The course itself was challenging, very well maintained, the homes surrounding the AACC and beautiful as well. I will golf there again! Rcj
Waste of Money
It was my first disappointing golf round. The course is a mess, the cart was dirty and sounded like an old truck, the course conditions was extremely poor. It would be nice if they at least had coffee or snacks before the restaurant opens at 11:00. Mowing and all other course maintenance is not happening at this course. The worst course conditions I've ever seen.
the course is not improving
I like the course and hope the condition of it getting better. But, it is not. A few parts actually getting worse.
Worst course ever
For this being a country club, the condition of the course was absolutely horrible. The staff were all on different pages, their left hand did not know what the right hand was doing. First impressions are important and we will never golf their again.
wonderful time
The Pro shop person were much accommodated and I had left my bag at bag stand while I was parking they put it on a cart and drove to Proshop.
I was a bit earlier than my tee time and asked for early time and of course they did … course was women friendly yet I lost about 10balls the rough were a bit high and I could not find my balls easily.
In nine holes we had some back up and right away person drove by explained the reason sorry for the backup also.
I had wonderful time after all…
AACC
Nice course for the money. In good shape. Keep it in the fairway or bring extra balls. Rough is ruff!! Old time country club that you can score on or be crushed.
Tough Rough
Front 9 is the toughest 9 I have played, slope rating in the 120's. White tees my group all over 65 years in age, decent golfers, 18-20 handicaps, first cut of rough dense and deep, it should be trimess down another inch. Everything else good. I will play it again.
nice course to play
This is my second time playing here. It has a very friendly staff, good food and drink. The course is ok.
Fairways need some love, but overall good for the price
The course is well designed, good level of difficulty and quiet. Tee times are also well spaced. However, the big downside is the condition of the fairways (fair ) and tee boxes. Lots of uneven grass, spotty grass, and overall lack of maintenance. There were also rocks in many of the bunkers.
But for the price ($15 for 18 walking!) who can complain?
Beautiful Day for golf!
Beautiful day, courteous and friendly staff, great price, excellent course.
Deep rough
Deep rough made me crazy and distance marker is a bit small. But green quality is good. Overall, this course is not easy for beginners.
Good golf bad management
Started the round at 8am food still wasn't ready till 12pm my only option was Doritos
And the bar wasn't open so my beer selection was limited
