Hot Deal on the Weekend, Nothing better
Caught a great deal on sunday at this course. It was kind of crowded but it seemed like it was in even better shape than last time we played. About 4-5 holes in some young guy came up to us. Turns out he was this years new superintendent. He talked yo us for about 10 minutes, how the course was only going to get better and better. He said they were putting in quite a bit amount of money to make the course beautiful. I think that's pretty cool, the course is so unique and to see the conditions only getting better is awesome. Will be coming back again next week.
This course has unexpected Elevations and challenging par 4's. Good to start out with consecutive par 5's for scoring birdies.
I would recommend this course for all skill playing levels. You will use most of the clubs in your bag for this layout! Pinpoint accuracy for the severe doglegs are a must for getting away witha par. Even though green areation was applied, they were still very speedy above any holes. I would rate this course an easy 8 out of 10!
Well landscaped and maintained course
Only complaint i have about this course is the greens were absurd. The front 9 is ridiculous, a decent amount of blind shots, nothing overwhelming, but what was frustrating were the greens. I would get on the green in 3 or 4 shots looking to par, birdie, or bogey depending on the hole. Then comes the sloped greens. The ball would roll off the green constantly. You hit it very soft it barely moves or it rolls right off, you hit a little harder it rolls off the sloped green. Other than that nice course, good scenery, just too much difficulty on the greens. I understand a couple difficult sloped greens, but way too much on this course. The greens were too challenging for a private/public course in my opinion. If you are a bogey or double bogey golfer who struggles with putting then stay away from this course. I golf in between a 95-110 depending on the course. So basically average above bogey golf but under double bogey golf. If putting is your strong point this is your course because there weren't alot of hazards so you shouldn't have trouble getting on the green.
The course is suited for the aveage golfer
I loved the course for an aveage golfer. The greens were fast and tricky. The only down side was the distance markers. There needs to be more noticable and consistant markers.
Don't go
Course is in terrible condition - actually, worse conditions I had ever seen - I left without finishing.
Course was in poor condition.
Only paid 18 dollars for 18 holes so its hard to be disappointed. The course was in poor condition though. Can see why it ended up having to go public. Won't be going back.
