Squirrel Run Country Club
About
Squirrel Run Golf Club offers some of the most scenic golf on the South Shore of Boston. The course is an executive layout that is gentle enough for beginners and even juniors to tackle with confidence. There are no par 5s on the golf course, most of the holes are under 140 yards. Even though you may not need distance, a strong short game will take you far on this course. Rough borders the fairways and there are a few strategically placed bunkers framing the greensides. Squirrel Run Golf Club is a very forgiving golf course overall and it may not be the most formidable test but there are a few tricky holes, like the par-3 13th. This is the golf course's signature hole that plays from an elevated tee over water to a green that slopes from back to front, and if that wasn't enough, the entire hole is at the mercy of the prevailing winds.

Great course
Played with the wife on a Sunday morning in the rain. We were the only ones on the course, so pace wasn't a problem lol.
Greens were in great condition as were the tee boxes. Bunkers all looked pretty good but managed to avoid them. A really nice course to play, easy to walk, easy to navigate, really nice guy in the pro shop. Will definitley be back again.
Nice Take...
It's early so not fair to comment on conditions. Only thing I'd recommend is better signage for holes. They are close together and overlap...
Amazing course at affordable rates
Place is awesome. Best course to practice your irons with a few long holes as well. Always amazing conditions. Pace is always great and staff always friendly
Greens fees more than doubled for 2021
I really like this course,. I played there 2018, 2019, and 2020. I bought the week day membership. This year, they did away with their memberships in favor of a “frequent player card”. The cost of the frequent player card is not terrible, but it only gives you $5 off greens fees. I played three times a week last year for roughly $750. To play that much this year with the reduced rate for the frequent player card would cost me $1800. I bought the week day pass at Southers Marsh for $850.
