About
Squirrel Run Golf Club offers some of the most scenic golf on the South Shore of Boston. The course is an executive layout that is gentle enough for beginners and even juniors to tackle with confidence. There are no par 5s on the golf course, most of the holes are under 140 yards. Even though you may not need distance, a strong short game will take you far on this course. Rough borders the fairways and there are a few strategically placed bunkers framing the greensides. Squirrel Run Golf Club is a very forgiving golf course overall and it may not be the most formidable test but there are a few tricky holes, like the par-3 13th. This is the golf course's signature hole that plays from an elevated tee over water to a green that slopes from back to front, and if that wasn't enough, the entire hole is at the mercy of the prevailing winds.

Great Value for Executive Course
I really like Squirrel Run. Nice executive course with a few par 4 holes that's friendly for beginners and good for others who want to focus on their short game. Course condition is very good and well kept. Off-course amenities have been limited since COVID, but they do open a small bar with snacks during busy times. Pace of play moves along well, even on weekends.
Good for short game
Perfect place to play for rehab from injury..excellent condition and service.
Front 9 is excellent, but the back nine offers little variety.
Overall,,a very good and well managed short course.

Nice Lil Par 3
Returned to our weekly schedule but this time with a new hip. Dave and John quickly handed us a flag for our cart John checked in with us a couple of times but we were fine. Greens were pretty good. Flags a little close to the near edge but fair. Good day to hit em
Executive course
First time on an executive course. It’s a nice way to improve your short game but as one would expect on a par 57 mostly par threes and that’s a little repetitive.
Can’t go wrong
Have played this course several times and have always found it to be an excellent choice. Greens, fairways, tee boxes continually to be in excellent condition. Staff very friendly. Course offers many different challenges, You can’t go wrong selecting to play this course
Love this course
Perfect for an aging couple that doesn't want to spend five hours playing golf.

Good value for the money
The course was in really nice shape. It’s a tight layout but interesting too. Pace was really slow the day we played. Staff was great.
