Greens were recently punched but coming back nicely
Super friendly staff great value for your $$ and would differently play again !
Good value
Course was in normal repair for fall. The greens were aerated but that's to be expected this time of year. The electric carts are FAST. I played on a monday, alone, and played in record amount of time for me, but no one else was there. I would definitely play this again as it was so cheap. I'm positive these greens would be challenging during the summer months.
Great course for the money
Private Semi Private Country Club, Very challenging long course with sand traps everywhere, big fast greens , a great course for the money .
great greens
Course in god shape with fast and true running greens.
Sand traps could use a little work.
this course has a lot of sand traps
very well kept course employees were very curtious
This course will challenge you.
All aspects of this course are entertaining. There are very few greens you can see from the tee box. It's an old course but well maintained.
Large fast greens
Friendly staff best course in the area with a great value.
Nice round of golf
Nice round of golf. Friendly staff, but no drinks available on the course
What a Gem!
I'm new this summer to golf, but have been doing well "for a beginner"...this course was definitely my most challenging yet! But I like a challenge! I'll definitely be trying again! Everything was amazing, the staff, the members, the grounds! Beautiful place I never knew existed!
tough course in really good shape
It is a long course with many par 4's close to or more than 400 yards from whites. Lot of sand traps protecting greens.
Hard to tell where to go
There were barely any cart paths or signs as to where to go. A lot o the holes seemed to be the same with huge bunkers coming out into the middle of the fairways.
Felt rushed, didn't finish all 18, uppity.
While the course was decent, except the bunkers surrounding EVERY green, the club itself was very hoity-toity. Initially the staff was very friendly, even when we showed up with 2 extra kids in tow, they only charged us a cart fee. Bunkers abound at every hole, water hazzards were dried up. We are not the best or fastest golfers and let a couple play through and when another couple caught up to us (whom we also let play through), course staff came over to very politely put some pressure on us to "keep pace". Again they came over to scold us when the kids had their cart closer than 30 feet from the green. We felt pressured and only played 9 holes. When we asked if we could get a raincheck on the back 9, even for just 2 players, we got some attitude about how much they normally charge vs what we paid through Golf Now. And for as much airs as the staff put on, I would've expected the grounds to be a bit better maintained. Definitely wouldn't recommend this course to beginners or casual players.
Course in great condition with a friendly and helpful staff
Staff met me at bag drop and took bags and cart to practice green while i signed in. Course in perfect condition.
Great course!!!
Course was in great shape!! Greens rolled very well and course was very well kept all the way around. Would definitely come back!!
nice course
Nice course lots of sand good for all play levels.
Nice day, nice course
It was a nice day to play golf, play was a little slow but the people playing were still enjoying themselves. The big bunkers could take their toll on you if you got in one. Fairways were very nice and greens were tricky but very playable.. And fast
Very well maintained. Courteous staff
Course was maintained exceptionally. Course playability was excellent. The course was not difficult but enjoyed the challenge.
A lot of sand traps, but easy outs.
There's a lot of sand traps that come into play for both a draw or fade hitter. The designer must have loved the beach to have that much sand. You have to know your distance with each club which makes this a fun course to play.
Great Golf course
Course is fairly long, greens are maintained very well, the rough tends to be longer than it should. There are some blind shots but not enough to scare you. i would reccommend this course to anyone.
Great time and value, on a beautiful sunny Michigan day!
Friendly staff, good food, nice course & great value.
