Better than the past
I used to come here 5-10 years ago and put up with bad smells and poor course conditions since it's price reflected its quality. Now, it does not smell and the course quality is 1000% better from what I remembered.
I liked the few elevation changes.
they had just rolled the greens so they were a little shaky. A few holes had blind tee shots-which I like.
Great course to play challenging but not to hard
Great course to play challenging but not to hard. Typical Donald Ross greens
Bad shape
Course in bad shape. Mud spots in fairways, greens only ok. It had just rained pretty heavily, but I don't think that was the reason. Omly paid $17 on Golf now, pay for what you get.
fast play
Well worth the price and pace of play was fast friendly people
This course was in excellent condition
Did not finish round due to thunderstorms in the area, but great golfing through 15 holes
Greens where in great shape!
The course is a short one but but it does give you an opportunity to hit short irons into the green. That was a lot of fun!!!!!!!
nice course but wet
The course is a challange but due to all the rain weve had it was really soft
played many times will play many more
would recommend playing in a week that it has not rained 4 times, otherwise course played as tough as ever.0 roll
Warren Valley East
Warren Valley East is a shot makers course. Not very long but you still have to putt well and have good iron play. Some holes don't allow you to see the green from the tee which can be challenging but overall I like the Donald Ross design and would recommend anyone come and play it.
Quick pace Decent course
The course could use some more attention as some areas are very rough. The pace was excellent. Overall a enjoyable course.
Nice course for the money
Come on guys replace your divots on the green, your paying to play, fix!
Great value.
A few holes you can't see if people are still on the fairway when you are teeing off. Staff was not friendly. The guy who checked us in didn't seem to know what he was doing. I had a 12:28p tee time. When the guy printed my receipt, it said 11:40a. When I got to the check in guy at hole one he looked at the receipt and said "What happened? Did you take a little nap before you decided to come?" So I said "No, I'm on time. Its an error on the receipt." Fortunately, there's not much interaction with the staff and I only care about the golfing part.
be on your toes!
36 holes tightly together, watch for arrant golf balls from other fairway's. Course is mainly straight, if they would turn this into an 18 hole layout it would be more challenging because they could dog leg some of the holes. Going straight on most holes gets boring after a while.
Great
THE PRICE OF THIS COURSE AND IT'S challengeing.holes are more than worth the money for this course! Will definitely play it again multiple times this season.
Great place to play golf
Great place to play golf at. Not too easy but not to hard. Not a lot of people were playing their which made it a great day to golf.
This course is an old fashioned Donald Ross designed course that can play difficult.
If you are looking for an old Donald Ross designed golf course with 36 holes, then Warren Valley is the place for you. It might be a shooting gallery, but there are two sets of 18 holes to play from. The west course is more challenging than the east course. The east course has 4 par 5's while the west only has 2 par 5's. The course needs attention. The fairways were not cut down enough, and the rough was long and thick. It was like playing out of grass in your very own uncut yard. The greens were very nice, cut, and they rolled smoothly. However, the greens can be quite small and very sloped. The whole course plays around the Mighty Rouge River.
THE COURSE IS GOOD FOR AN AVERAGE GOLFER
THE COURSE HAD A FEW WET SPOTS AND THE ROUGH HAD VERY TALL GRASS. THE GREENS WERE A LITTLE SLOW. BUT OVERALL THE COURSE WAS IN GOOD CONDITION.
Good course - good value
The course was in good shape. We found it to be interesting and moderately challenging. Could use better signage.
