Good overall course
Always enjoy playing here. Course has been under maintenance for most of the year but is really starting to come around. Great greens and overall a good challenge.
Great choice
Spectacular for a city golf course, I do think 35$ is on the high side for any city course anywhere. although, I would say it was worth it. Nice little club house with full bar, balls, apparel and a little gear. putting green, no range.
very challenging'nice fairways and
The course was very hard to find without a gps I may have had trouble finding it. There was construction going on hole ten but that okay ,because there improving the course layout. There was a threesome in front of a foursome slowing play but the rangers got a handle on it. All in all I will be back .6/
Some very good holes
Nice old style course. Now under repair on several holes on the back nine. Hit it straight and you should score well. Greens in good shape. Golf Now charged more than the price at the course.
Great Golf Course....currently under renovation on back nine!
The course is a great layout. The course is currently under renovation due to some work being done to Tavers Creek. It looks like it was the right thing to do but makes the back nine a little gimicky at the moment. I will definitely plan it again but may wait a year for the renovations to be completed.
Construction on back 9 made my game bad
The course itself was great, however current construction can not make full 18 hole game. Leslie shouldn't open its back 9 until the construction is complete.
Renovations ongoing.
A better than average muni. However, 5 holes were seriously affected by ongoing renovation. Normally, I would recommend Leslie Park without reservation. I would suggest taking a pass for this year, unless you are playing just the front nine.
Friendly staff. Great price thru Golfnow.com
One of my favorite courses in the Ann Arbor area. They now have a beer lic. when makes it even more golfer friendly.
beautiful course
maybe it's just this one time, but it seems to also happen over at huron hills where the group before us are slow but the group after us is fast. so you'd have to wait 5 minutes to play your shot while the group after you is watching.
Above average
Course can be very difficult to play, greens are very true and maintained better than most private courses. Overall can be very challenging to higher handicap players and lower if played from tips.
Occasionally too many slow players could make for long day, and other times you can play under 4 hours.
Overall one of the better courses.
Full-Price Without Aeration Warning
The course is laid out pretty well, and no two holes are really the same. The course provides a good challenge, despite being a shorter course. Even the tips are playable for average golfers. I've played this course four times now and have had issues with pace of play every time. Also, three of the four times I have played the greens have been aerated or sanded and are essentially unplayable. The only time this was not the case was when I played in July. I have never been warned about the groundswork being done and I've been charged full price every time. I believe that courses should discount prices when the course can't be played to full capacity, or give their patrons fair warning to go somewhere else. There are plenty of other courses in the area where pace of play is not a problem and prices are better in the offseason when groundswork is being done.
