I played this course because I got a hot deal, but I was pretty disappointed. I can tell the course was old, and most hole designs were just straight and to the green. If there was any rain earlier the week you play, then the course will be drenched. I was only able to play the front 9 because the back 9 was underwater. The front 9 was very wet, too. Only walking right now, too. I understand that it was too wet for carts, but by the time I was done my shoes (and pants) were soaked! Luckily, the lady at the front desk was nice and she gave me a rain check (even though it wasn’t raining) to come back and play this summer when it would hopefully be dryer.
Fine for the price
The course was really wet but there has been a lot of rain. The grass was thick and the greens were slow. Staff were friendly. Fine for the price.
Decent course
This course is an overall nice course to play. There are a number of wide open fairways and some holes that are a bit challenging, but fun. My only complaint is the grounds were very bumpy throughout. That being said, I would still play this course again.
Great experience
This course had a wide variety of features and was considerably challenging. Greens and fairways are well maintained and present various obstacles. The staff, particularly the general manager, was absolutely fantastic. He was accommodating and friendly. We will be returning!
Nice course, greens were good, and enjoyable to play. Not very challenging, but if you're looking for short, flat, and relatively level playing... it's a good course to play. I had a good time.
Exactly what you pay for
This is the only course where I consistently lose balls in the middle of the fairway. Between the tree roots, dead grass, and ground as hard as concrete, this isn't the same game you are going to play, and it will not help your game to practice because the conditions are so dire. Great for people learning to swing a club using a bag of range balls.
Good value
Staff was excellent, weather and course was Terrific
Wet but green
Recent rains have left puddles on the course and cart paths. However the course remains playable and is substantially more green than the last time played, summer 2018.
Decent course...great value
Enjoyed playing 18 holes today. It was our first time playing the course. I would definitely play it again. The price was fantastic for 18 holes plus cart. We will be back. Looked like they had some recent sprinkler line repairs near the first green. Overall greens are well kept and tee boxes are clean and well groomed. Fairways were in decent shape, but some of the roughs were really rough. All in all a great value for a local course.
Happy 4th Day!!
Great course for the price. Staff was awesome. Short course yet challenging. Course was in great shape.
What did I spend money on
Lincoln was never a great place to play but definitely had value. I bought the Golfnow and found out I couldn’t play more than half the back 9, so we could play a Frankenstein back 9 or replay the front. Course was fine playability wise but they don’t stagger tee times enough. Then I bought 2 Gatorades and 2 Snickers and it cost $13–no dogs or anything. If the course isn’t ready, do open or use Golfnow
Relaxing Afternoon
Enjoyed playing a relaxing afternoon with a buddy. The staff at the course is extremely friendly. It was easy to get a tee time. The course was about half full. Did not have any problems with the pace of play but did let a single player play through. Overall, the course is short with several unique holes that bend from left to right or right to left. The greens are extremely challenging due to their small size - better bring your A game with your wedges. The main problem was the condition of the course. Many of the greens have dead patches. It looks like the greens have got a disease. The rough is also very thick - made you feel like you were playing in a U.S. Open so keep it in the fairway. Still, even with the poorer conditions we enjoyed our afternoon. It was well priced and they had several food/beverage options at the bowling alley that is connected to the course. Not a must play, but you will have a good relaxing time if you do.
