$14 for 18 makes sense
I paid $14 for 18 and a cart. The price coincides with the course. The greens are incredibly tiny and in poor condition. There are dirt patches on every green on the back. You'd think this late in the season things would be up to par. The fairways are nearly the equivalent of being the rough in many spots as are some of the tee boxes. The pace of play was super slow, but it was my first time playing so that could have been an anomaly. I ended up leaving after the 1st nine and didn't even feel bad after paying for 18. I would not recommend this course even for the price.
A good warm up
This was a good practice course for our group. Conditions were dry, the same as yards that have not been watered. That said my expectations were low but the course was fun to play.
Poor conditions
Chose location for low green fees, which was a mistake. Some tee boxes were quite beat up. Overgrown trees blocking tee box to fairways in some instances.
A couple of fairways had not been maintained as fairways! After hitting 230 straight down fairway, I found I was hitting next shot from the rough?!
One hole showed a straight shot (I believe #4?) and it was actually a strong dogleg to right.
Small greens, which is fine, but approach shots were often out of bad lies, greens were diseased. Both fairway and rough shots were difficult, due to unkept grass. If you have the misfortune to go in rough...save yourself time and pull out a new ball. ;)
no one home
We got to the course for our 8:00 tee time but they do not open until 9:00 lucky someone left a key in a cart, They blamed it on golf now seemed a bit miffed that I came in and paid. By the Way you need to fix this comment box I Had to reset the cursor at least 30 times to write this short review.
Lincoln Lawns
We had an 8:00 tee time- booked online. Nobody from the course showed up until 8:10. They did not have a cart up for us until around 8:30. Once that was taken care of. The day went well. There was 1 green that was in rough shape. The course was in good condition outside of that.
Rough Shape
The back nine has several temporary tee boxes. The cart paths are in terrible condition and driving the cart in the fairway is like driving in a cow pasture. You'll need to visit a chiropractor to have your back adjusted. The course is not well manicured. I probably won't be back unless Im desperate.
Nice little course
We were there on a friday to golf using Golfnow discount, Staff was great course in very good shape. Came back the next morning for an outing and service was terrible, Gentleman behind the counter was very very rude. I would go back as long as we don't run into the angry bird!
We did not end up golfing as scheduled this time. The course was too wet and no carts were being allowed on the course. I tried to call golf now and get it rescheduled and only got a recorded message and disconnected from every time I called. I emailed also and never got a reply email. So as of now I paid for nothing because we haven't golfed it yet.
Don't play here
Staff is extremely rude and doesn't know how to run a business at all. Couldn't book a tee time in person and the course was in awful condition. Don't play here unless you want to spend too much money for an old man to treat you like you're a child
Great practice course!!
Have played Lincoln many times over the years.
Some of my fondest times were when my Dad and I played together. Lincoln is not the best course in town by a long shot. But, it is a great practice course. The greens are very small, which makes your approach shot challenging. So if your a golfer, and your struggling with sticking the greens from 150 and in, play Lincoln. There are times on the weekend where they might not be that busy and you can throw another ball down at 110, and hit your wedge and work on your game. And with GolfNow there are some pretty good green fee deals too. So what are you waiting for, get out there and work on your game and have fun!!
Still playin there !!!!!!!!
Still in really good shape, got 18 holes for the cheap through golf now and it's still playable. Will keep playing as long as they keep making progress on trying to make it enjoyable.Greens are straight but have that challenge of adjusting to every green some are slow and some are a little slow and some have that medium slow roll.Fairways are descent to hit off and the word stinky Lincoln might be disappearing right in front off everyone eyes Let's hope that is the deal!!!!!!
