We chose the course for the price to have a casual warm up round. It was in decent shape. Greens are a bit slow and very small. It was a great value.
The course was in rough shape
The layout is fine and it has been at least 10 years since I played the course, but it was in pretty rough shape. I picked up a hot price on it and that was a good price for the shape of the course, but I definitely wouldn't pay full price for the course until it is in better condition.
Great Hacker/Beginner Course
Very busy Saturday afternoon. Several large groups, with many novice golfers. Started on the back nine because of a group of six starting on one. Course was in good condition, more designed for hackers and people learning to golf. Great value.
Great course for the money
Easy to play, short 4's and creative 3's. For the money, its one of my favorites in GR
Pleasantly surpirsed
I have played Lincoln in the past and was not impressed with the condition of the course. Found a great deal on Golf Now and booked a tee time. Pleasantly surprised by how well the course has been maintained. The green were fantastic! Looking forward to my next round there.
Boom
Not a bad course for a cheap price. Fairways are better than they used to be a few years ago and same with the greens. they're making it better year by year. If you're looking for not a bad course and looking to not spend a ton, go here you'll enjoy it
Great rate
Fair course but short
Front 9 very open
Back 9 was more challenging
I would recommend this course. Unfortunately we were only able to play 3 holes because of rain. We were really looking forward to playing the rest of the course because how nicely maintained it looked but when we went back to the clubhouse for a rain check we were informed that they don't give rain checks. If the weather look bad play at your own risk I guess.
Many improvements to the course. You can no longer call this course Stinking Lincoln!!!!!
STILL LOOKIN IN GOOD SHAPE !!!!!
until things change i would play again and again especially for the price.the greens are really in good shape not the most diffucult course compared to most i have played but it still worth the fun !!!! some players might say they dont like the course but thats too is their opinion.anyways take some good advice and go enjoy.I almost forgot i also walked and played on a wet course and still enjoyed the course. One more thing GolfNow update the course on your app its atleast 2 to 3 holes the dont read pleaseeeeeeee
Needs work but fun
Most of the fairways had really hard ground and no grass. You can use irons on almost all of the tees so you get a lot of practice.
Tee time
Our tee time was in the middle of a golf outing. We were rushed from the minute we arrived until we started play. When we made the turn we learned we were still in the middle of the outing and might need to let the outing players play thru. Even with all that it was a good time. It's a fairly easy course so I scored my best round of the year. I had fun.
Terrific old school layout.
The modern golf snobs will say its too short, with too small of greens and not in good enough condition. But they dont understand the shot value s, skill and fun that are attained on these 1920's courses. Take off tbe white wig and enjoy this terrific, fun course. The sad reality is that its the 7000 yd beasts with, huge greens and stimpmeter envy that are driving up the cost of the game and driving people away.
Atleast Trying !!!! My Opinion
Have to say that they are trying to get the course back in shape and to be honest when I arrived I thought it would be the same old Lincoln Country Golf Course.I was like WHAT,from when I played here 2yrs ago,The fairways were ok not usually hard atleast it had grass ,the greens surprised me even the roughs and fringes they were atleast challenging so I can't complain this time, yeah to be honest I can play I would play again !!!!!!
