Love this course!
Great weather… great layout… greens in great condition!
Greens in great shape
Entire course in great shape. Made it very enjoyable to play.
Mosquitos and rock walls
Played 5 out of the 6 Gull Lake View courses last week. Rank this one 4th. Really friendly staff and really good conditioning. Decent but dated clubhouse and facilities. Driving range/practice green. A somewhat tight tight tree lined design to shape shots in the mid-Michigan forest. Don't go into the forest you'll get you'll be swarmed and bit up even if you take bath in bug spray. Another Gull Lake View course where no one hole stands out so much that would make me want to travel to play them again and again. Picturesque and the "cachet" of the South Course are rock stone walls on several holes some which will keep your ball in play if you hit an errant shot. If I was a local another track I'd probably only play in a pinch. 5 of 6 Gull Lake View courses designs unfortunately are just average to slightly above average experiences for me. This one is a 40 value/3.4 stars.
Beautiful course!
Absolutely gorgeous course feels like up north! Pace was excellent service was wonderful!!
First class course
First class course beautiful course, with well-maintained fairways and greens.
Challenging Golf and Fun!
The course is a “thinking shot course” for placing each ball shot for your next position spot! The trees and rolling fairways are beautiful and challenging for ball landings. Putting on the greens requires looking at all angles of the green to secure a one or two putt. Friendly staff on property, bar, and restaurant—- reasonable pricing and service.
Fun Golf
Interesting layout—-watch out for tree line bounce. Read your putts from all angles. Sand traps are challengingly located!!
Great Course
This is my favorite course near Kalamazoo. It has a great layout, it is well taken care of, and you can't beat the value for the cost. I strongly recommend Stonehedge North and South
Great Track
The best of The Gull Lake View courses is Stonehenge South. It’s a great test from the tips at 6700 yds. Tree lined fairways and sloped greens in great shape
Beautiful course
I had a great time and loved this course. It was a fun challenge.
Nice course, bad set up
I've played here several times and most of the time the course is set up just fine, but there are a few pin placements that are just absurd. The 17th comes to mind. When it's a front left pin placement you can't even keep your ball on the green. There should be no reason the pin is ever in that location. Other than pin placements the course is nice.
