6-6-6 layout
A joy to play with 6 par fives, 6 par threes, and 6 par fours. Greens were large, undulating, medium fast, and putted true.
Water in play on four holes but no forced carries.
Of the five Gull Lake courses - all very nice - this is my favorite..
Great Condition
The North Course was in great condition. Very good value on Tee Off. Played early am and was done in 2.5 hours.
A must play!
One of the best courses for the price, incredibly well kept, great staff, will be driving 90 minutes to play here again
Always a fun course
My husband and I play Stonehedge North several times a summer, it's our favorite of the Gull Lake Resort courses. The course was in great shape, the rangers/starters on the course were both very pleasant and cordial. My only complaint would be slightly faster greens. Other than that a perfect day!!
Un-happy
Was under impression that I made a reservation for the first beautiful day of spring Saturday April 23rd, apparently I accidentally made it for a cold Tuesday April 19th . Showed up to the course for the tee time I thought I had made (23rd), course explained to me I didn’t have a reservation for that day and to call GolfNow, and GN would reach out to them and they would confirm what happened so I could get a refund for the Tuesday(19th) I didn’t even show up or have any intention of playing golf on.
Had to do it the next day (Sunday) because GN’s customer service was nearly impossible to find and closed after 5. GN reached out to SHN to confirm what happened, and SHN didn’t confirm my refund. Won’t be playing this course ever again, horrible at answering the phone and untrue to their word. Was also told cart path only, but the members that were holding me up the whole front nine were driving all over the fairways.
Awesome course
Don’t get much better than this place!!! Fun open and challenging all at the same time! Best variety southwest MI
Wonderful layout great staff very good pace of play will be back..
Super fun
The hole variety is awesome, 6 par 5’s 6 par 4’s 6 par3’s. Super run layouts! Lots of elevation changes! Big bunkers and water hazards! Fun and challenging!!!!!
Very nice as always
Course in excellent condition, sand traps were hard packed sand, disappointed they were not raked today since we played at Noon. Rest of course excellent
Slowwwwwwwww
Pace of play is terrible. 5 1/2 hour round minimum. No ranger to keep groups moving.
2nd best of the 6 Gull Lake View Courses
Played 5 out of the 6 Gull Lake View courses last week. Rank this one #2. A course I'd absolutely play a few times a season if I was a local. Really friendly staff and really good conditioning. Through the tunnel from away from the main clubhouse north under M89 there's a halfway house, putting green and a much better golfing experience. Way more open than the forested south course...you have some room to breathe and aren't fending off mosquitos all day. But it is another Gull Lake View course where no one hole stands out so much that I have to travel to play the course again. North course does have a really nice flow to it. A number of blind shots....many on your 2nd shots on par 5's. Picturesque and the "cachet" of the North Course is that each nine has 3 par 3's, 3 par 4's and 3 par 5's. 40 value/3.7 stars.
