Great Course
It has been a dry summer so far and yet the fairways and greens were in excellent shape. I will definitely be back.
Great Course
Fairways and greens were in excellent condition. The pace of play was a bit slow as they were just finishing up an outing but that was to be expected for a weekend day.
A Well Maintained Course, Good Value
I’ve played here a half dozen times and have always enjoyed the experience. Though not a long coarse it will challenge you in a variety of ways. The novice golfer could go away a little frustrated while a good player might walk away having left shots out there or wanting to revisit some decisions. It’s kind of out in the middle of nowhere.

I've brought friends to this course numerous times and have never been disappointed.
Limited boarder rough speeds up play while the fairways remain challenging and the greens are well maintained.
The staff are pleasant and helpful and clubhouse prices are fair.

Play pace
People who are not decent golfers will not let you play bye.They hold every one else up. I was playing by myself and no luck of that..Paid for 18 holes but it took me two and a half hours to play the first seven holes. I just had to leave.What a waste to bad it’s a nice course

Course is in very nice shape, greens are very nice. Overall really nice lay out. I will definitely play it again.
This beauty northern course is my happy place!
I often travel nearly an hour north to play this beauty I call my northern “happy place”. The course challenging and well-maintained, and the staff are always friendly and down to earth. The layout, elevations, and water hazards present plenty of challenges for golfers at any level. I feel like I’m on a northern Michigan vacation every time I play here.
Beautiful golf course
Best course I've played in Michigan, tough small greens, intimidating water on many holes, a beautiful challenge. Prices are budget minded and a real good deal as a memb of Golfnow app. I'll be back again and again.. this course is very well kept.
I would only suggest having a ranger to speed play as some 4somes won't let a faster single player pass them. I skipped hole 9 to get to the 10th tee before the slow group and made the round in 4 hours... A bit lengthy timeframe to play 17 holes only because of slow play in front of myself..
Beautiful course!
Super-friendly staff, beautiful course, friendly golfers, and great pace. I enjoyed the entire course (except hole 18 because I don’t hit far enough to clear the water). Great time with friends!!
