Worthy test of golf
Not easy, not hard - plays long with a generous sprinkling of hazards to keep you honest. Greens are in very good shape but the roughs could use a trim (lots of lost golf balls hiding in the roughs). Pretty course with lots of mature trees. Its a good place to play golf.
Winter maintains its grip here. The fairways are just starting to grow again and the greens were recently aerated so they're rough. The pace of play is mind-numbing, taking 3 hours to play 9 holes and rangers are non-existent. But I'm positive that as spring finally arrives in MI, this pretty course will shape up nicely and become a great course for challenging golf. I'll be back for sure.
This course needs some work. Fairways need to be cut shorter. Greens need to be cut and rolled more often. Holes should be changed on a daily basis, and not in the same place for a whole week. Fairway need to be better, to many weeds and not enough grass.
Played in July 2018 and course was in excellent condition with awesome views of the air force planes flying overhead.
