Old School Back 9 and Modern Front 9
This was the one course that go away during a UP golf trip. The course was worth the wait. The front 9 is the newer 9 and plays over the hillier portion of the property.
The back 9 is the older 1902 to 1920 design and has some of the coolest quirkiest greens. It appears greens 7 and 9 were redone at some time, but other than that the back 9 greens were worth the wait to play.
Course is a must play and worth the addition to any UP golf trip.
Terrible Staff
Its a below average course. Some of the staff at the facilities are terrible. If you are not a regular pass holder you are treated like a criminal. Getting lectures before teeing off like we are going to steal the green one we are out of site. This is done to regular respectful people are golf regulars. Imagine the chewing out you would get if you were looking like a golf beginner. Good job treating paying customers badly.
Michigan tech golf course
The best upper peninsula golf course I've played . The overall experience was very enjoyable and will golf here when I'm up on vacation .
Very playable course
I've played this course back to back 18 holes and was very enjoyable , I would recommend this course to anyone .
