Beautiful weather. It's early spring but the greens were pretty rough. Couldn't keep a true roll. If you don't hit the fairways it's easy to lose your ball.

A very difficult and scenic course.

Fun course, could use a little more care but well worth the money.

I love playing this course. It is truly an inner city gem! I just wish others would respect what we have here as much as I do. Lots of twisted spike spots on the greens as well as un-repaired divots. Some of the tee boxes are in need of some TLC, as well as the bunkers on some of the holes (rocks), but overall I find this course very challenging. Many holes look much longer then they are, so be prepared to lose a few balls if you don't have a range finder, The out of bounds areas are exactly that!

5 1/2hr round is ridiculous for Sunday early groupings. One foursome held up everyone behind them. Twosomes should be grouped together to smooth out pace of play. I don't want to complain or post negative reviews , but I will think twice about booking another early tee time unless I'm in the first or second group off. Sunday am golfers are usually experienced players who know the rules of edicate. This is an excellent course to play, no question there.

Played this course for the first time in a long time and it's as challenging as ever. Long carries from tee to fairway and plenty of spots to lose balls...you need to hit it straight here. The weekend rate of $42 is high base on the condition of the course. $25 Senior rate during the week is a much better deal. Course is lacking basic maintenance, tee boxes in o.k. to poor condition. No signage from green to next tee box. Bunkers nothing but hard clay. It's too bad. I know Wayne County is financial distress, maybe a sale would improve conditions. It needs a financial boost to put this trac back in great shape.

Overall, the price is a little high, but a real test of ball striking and control.

Not a great track but good for sharpening your game. Requires some thought. Can always count on catching the groups in front if you play as a single or twosome.I finished the last 5 holes as a five-some because we caught two groups of ladies that were playing together till the Marshall broke them up.

Decent course for 26$ but very slow play. Multiple holes with 4 groups waiting. Homeless man asked for money in parking lot. Placement drives on almost every hole. Needs some kind of bell or clear signal given all the blind drives.

This course has a great layout. It feels like every hole is secluded in the woods. The track is not crammed at all.
Lots of woods and rivers. It could be such a nice course. When I golfed, it hadn't rained in four or five days, yet it was very wet and soggy. The tee boxes were very torn up. the greens had tons of ball marks and were very slow because of the moist conditions. It was a good course for the price of $15 on golf now, but I wouldn't pay full price to golf there again.

The course does not seem to drain well after rain. There were a lot of extremely wet areas after rain from two days prior. Patrons do a poor job of fixing divots on the greens. Most greens had several divots in them.

This course is challenging. Many blind shots to the green and tees over hazsrds to landing spot fairways. Greens were in great shape and this course demands straight shots because the rough is high and you won't find your ball.

It is a very nice course. Although it was little intimidating for someone like myself, just recently started playing again. A lot of very sharp dog legs and narrow fairways. If your ball barely rolls OB, consider it gone. Tall grass, trees, and shrubbery along every hole. Lost every ball i had in my bag by the 18th. Now that i know the course better, i know what to expect, and i do plan on playing here again after gaining some more experience. Overall great course if your looking for a challenge.

Hole layouts and course is actually good for an average golfer. I play herehere atat least once a week. No Rangers lead to a very slow play, grass is pretty thick so you need to find the fairway each hole. This leads to a lot of people looking for balls and taking too much time. If you get moving the course is challenging and fun to play. Not the nicest staff, but your there to play golf not visit.

I do play here a few times a week for the cost it's pretty challenging. Just got to find a time slot where there's not a lot of amateur golfers looking for balls.

Great course for a little challenge. Close to a river so Mosquitos can be rough after periods of standing water.

I had heard this course was a little tough, but real nice for the City of Inkster. They were right. There is a lot of marsh, some tough shots where you have to carry some of it, and the greens are TOUGH. (They are in great shape too though.)

Pros: Challenging course, position golf, greens, great staff, overall quality of the course.
Cons: The bunkers. I don't know if they just don't care, or if the rouge river screws them up, but the are in terrible condition.

Fix the bunkers and this will be one of the nicest courses in Metro Detroit!

Great design, but course is in bad shape. Sand bunkers has nothing but water and mud. Rough is a joke. However the greens were good but a little slow. Talk to other league player and guest, " this course has been bad all year" . Stay away not worth $5 and your time.

The tee boxes are in horrible shape and the fairways have giant creators throughout the course. The sand bunkers are dirt not sand so every time I hit my ball in there I took it out. The greens look like they have a big cut and more imp The greens we're very long and in poor condition. This course has a great layout and a lot of potential but it needs to be taking care of a lot better.

Great time and pace of play and course was kept up well.

I like the golf course overall, but the greens are slow, no one fixes the divots from their golf balls, and the course could use some fertilizer. What I can say is overall the course is a bit challenging and I like the way it's laid out, I would definitely recommend this course to my friends and family, just wish it had a little more upkeep on the greens.
