I don't see what the fuss is...
Arbor Hills has always had that country club, swanky vibe to me. I don't see what people see in this course that makes them want to play it multiple times a month.
The course layout is normal as it comes and the views of Arbor "Hills" are they are obsolete. I play this course maybe 3 times a year and it seems like every time I show up the prices are raised as if they were a Calderone (which they don't compete with at all).
When I show up as a single (always way before my tee time) the guys always give me the feeling like I'm wasting their time. This is every time. The only time I'll go back is with a friend or a group now.
It's a nice course, not a great course.
More than worth it
This is a good course for all skill levels and it has some fairly nice scenery and care built in
Great First Impression
I played this course for the first time on the morning of 9/13/20. The staff at the Pro Shop was extremely friendly and we chatted about the course for a quick minute before teeing off. The course was still damp (and the lowest fairway at #12 was puddled) but that's to be expected from the rain the previous nights. The greens were fantastic. Challenging and fast - and the holes themselves were not too forgiving which made for some 3-putts. The course itself is very picturesque and it's apparent that this used to be a private club. Several of the tee boxes need sod work and/or rolling to mat them down a little bit. Overall though, I had a great experience and will definitely play again!
Thumbs up
For the price can't beat it old school feel great greens
Overbooked bs
4+ for 18? Atrocious I will not be back 2 times in a row it's taken over 2 hours for 9 the 2nd time around i left after 9 because ya'll clearly care about money over someone's day, enforce quicker golf or spread out your tee times because this was multiple terrible experiences
Okay course
The day we played was after some heavy rains. Low lying areas were swampy, which isn’t unusual for this course.
The biggest disappointment was the maintenance of the tee boxes, particularly the yellow tees we played from. The tee boxes were lumpy, overgrown with weeds, and not mowed. It’s obvious that the course has invested little to nothing in the forward yellow and red tee boxes.
Nice public course
This is one of our favorite courses to play. I play with 3 more senior neighbors once a week. Nice course, not to difficult. Easy to get a tee time. Course is in nice shape.
Course rating
I played this course a couple of times and it was always in good condition. I found it on GolfNow at a terrific price. Great value. A couple of the par 3’s are way to long for the average golfer..
Great Day
Arbor Hills never disappoints. Course was in great shape.
Very disappointed. Did not get to play because course closed due to weather.
