Cascades Eighteen at Cascades Golf Course

I had finished some weekend chores early on a Saturday and felt the urge to play some golf. I looked online and found this great deal at Cascades. $30 for 18 holes with a cart. Having played this course several times before, I jumped all over it. The staff was super friendly as always. The only downside is that there was an 8-some playing 2 groups ahead of me for the first 7 holes which was annoying. They eventually let the group ahead of me through, and then me. For the most part the course was in good condition and will likely only get better as Spring rolls into Summer. I really enjoy this course and recommend playing it.

I had played this course once before but many moons ago. Was very pleasantly surprised that the course layout was great although should be noted the first 9 holes are very different from the last nineholes. Tees were good with good level of grass. Greens were harder and faster than I anticipated but still, very good. The course is tight in place and quite a few hard dog legs make the course a challenger especially if you have not played it!!!! Overall great value for money and was helped with perfect sunday morning weather. I would play again for sure.

My buddy moved to Jackson so we visited him and played here on a HOT Tuesday 9/5/23 for $20 each w a discount book and was a super value. EXCELLENT condition and the starting out with 2 par fives unusual. More elevation than expected and the 93 year old course that Jack and I read Arnie played was tough and even plenty long by today’s standards.

Only 2 gripes, no signage for first timers to next hole AND a simple 150 stake would do wonders!

My buddy moved down to Jackson, so we came down here to visit him and played the Cascades, which was a very good Minnesota. Course conditioning was excellent and is almost 100 year old. Corso had a lot of mounding but the conditions are awesome and we only paid $20 each with her golf pass book. Played on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. The only thing I could knock against the sawhorses there’s no sign does signage directing to the next hole if you’ve never played there in a simple 150 yard marker white steak in the middle of her, we would be suffice not everybody has the new. It was need to see a picture of Jack Nicholson clubhouse. He played here 60 years ago in 1963 with Dave Hill Hill. It is a very nice course and it is the only one that I know of that starts out with 2 foot par five back to back.

Got a Hot Deal and could not have enjoyed the round more. Very fair course, trees but not too tight. Conditions good. I'll be be back shortly.

Nice Course, kept in nice shape, back nine has 3 or more dog legs. Greens kept nice, bunkers kept, nice course in Jackson Mi.
