Great Little Course with Fascinating History

I was able to walk this little gem for $5. I had a blast on this course and while the layout will not blow you away, the greens are built up and have plenty of character.

Don't judge a book by it cover

Don't let this little course fool you by it's short holes, cheap rates, and sometimes not so smooth fairways and greens. This little course is set in downtown Kalamazoo, the Kalamazoo River to the north and Kings Highway to the south. For only 5 dollars you get to play a round of golf, yes its only 9 holes but its 12 dollars cheaper than others charge for 9 in the area. This course does not have carts, some don't like this but it I personally believe it makes you more in touch with the game and its good exercise. This course is great for iron work and practicing your accuracy. If you can't hit the greens, this little course will be tough for you. Yes its not the best around, and yes its small and doesn't have the best greens but this course will be a fun challenge to all golfers no matter how good they THINK they are. This is a great course to go practice irons and have a friendly competition on.

Cheapest golf ever

I played this 9 for $2.50. Seriously, $2.50. You can ay more for a single golf ball. I played the 9, rented clubs & bought 4 balls, cheaper than I can play 9 anywhere else in the world. The woman at the counter was a volunteer & she was hoober friendly. Would love to play this course time & time again, if it weren't over an hour from my house.
