The clubhouse and the practice green. Very beautiful building and the practice green is as good as any on the course. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

Practice green also has a great view of Lake Nepessing. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

12th green. This is a very challenging approach shot on an already long hole bordered by out of bounds on the right. Those three large cavernous bunkers are always a threat. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

The 13th green. What a view of the hole. This is a short risk reward par 4 with a 240 yard carry over the reeds in order to reach the second fairway just short of the green. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

16th green. This is the highest point on the golf course. What a view of the fairway and the willows. Very tough approach shot as it plays 50 feet if not more uphill and it is tough to hold the green even with a wedge. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

Lapeer Country Club was great!
Lapeer Country Club provided a great golf experience at a course for a great price! The course was a bit soggy from all the recent rain however it was still in excellent shape. Greens were awesome...smooth & a true read. Pace of play was great. We didn’t eat at the Grill however from glancing at the menu they have something for everyone all at a good cost. Will definitely be back to play here again!!!
The gentleman cleaning the carts was very nice. The guy in the pro shop and the bartender seemed a little up tight. Maybe because of Cov-19
Course was nice but wet unfortunately.
Great priceand pace of play.
Great value for the money
This was my first time playing this course. It was in an excellent condition. Greens had some undulation and rolled very nicely. I will definitely be back especially for the price.
course in great shape
For being the end if July the course played great. A little slow for a Monday morning, but not outrageous just a little over 4 hrs
Excellent Course
Met a buddy from out of town to play a round on a Wednesday afternoon. Very courteous staff, and perfect pace of play to enjoy a great day on the course. Challenging design with elevation changes. Definitely recommend to others!
Great Course - Good for Old Guys Like Me
The condition of the course was excellent, greens are undulating and fast. Not long but a good layout. Food is also great. Monday fees for seniors are the best in the area for such a well conditioned course
Nice Course
First time we be played Lapeer country club.
A little hilly on the back 9 but not too long.
Will play here again
Beautiful set up
Beautiful day and lots of people golfing so play was slow. The course was in good shape with the exception of people not repairing their ball marks on the greens.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely a course I will be playing again
3rd time walking
Played Lapeer CC 5-5-20 , 10:50a , course was in good shape a bit cool and windy that day sun came out for a bit , had to walk again(sigh) that is getting old , 3rd time so far , hope to play 1 man 1 cart ASAP. Get with it Gov.
A good value course
I won't lie, Lapeer country club is not a special golf course, but for what you pay, its an excellent value. The front nine and the back nine on this course are not even remotely alike, personally, I found the front more enjoyable, as it was much more playable and encouraged more risk taking with your shots. Making the turn I thought I had found a hidden gem of a golf course, but the back nine did not impress me. The back nine is a lot of up and down, holes like #16 you go off an elevated tee box to a low fairway and then go back uphill to the green. I don't mind that so much, but I did have a problem with the fairways on the back 9. You could hit a fantastic tee shot and be right in the middle of the fairway, yet have an absolutely atrocious lie. Personally, the problem I have with this is that it does not reward good shot making. Overall, I think that for the 14.00 I paid to play, the course was more than worth it. This is also a great golf course to walk, you get a lot of exercise, and it is not terribly long or spread out, making it a pretty easy walk.
No pace control by rangers
It was a good course, but tea box and green are too close each other. Parking lot is small and #10 tea box and waiting area very crowded.
Great golf, not so great clubhouse cashier.
Booked a 11:48 golfnow tee time. I arrived 30 minutes early and checked in at the clubhouse. I wore a face mask per protocols. I was given a cart key by the cashier. I got my cart and loaded my bag onto it. I went to the putting green . I met two members who invited me to golf with them. While waiting at #1 we were approached by a cart boy who stated he was sent by the cashier to check if I had paid for my round . I told him the cashier had given me the cart key and checked me in. The cart boy left only to return again minutes later. Again he asked me if I had paid. I showed him my golfnow receipt on my phone. I told the kid to send the cashier out to do his own dirty work. I also told him I didn’t drive 20 plus miles to the course to CHEAT them out of a round of golf. The two members I golfed with were apologetic and we had a good round of golf. The cashier at this course has some type of issue. By the way I’m a retired 30 veteran of the City of Flint Police Department. I’m accustomed to dealing with goofballs.
