The clubhouse and the practice green. Very beautiful building and the practice green is as good as any on the course. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

12th green. This is a very challenging approach shot on an already long hole bordered by out of bounds on the right. Those three large cavernous bunkers are always a threat. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

The 13th green. What a view of the hole. This is a short risk reward par 4 with a 240 yard carry over the reeds in order to reach the second fairway just short of the green. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

16th green. This is the highest point on the golf course. What a view of the fairway and the willows. Very tough approach shot as it plays 50 feet if not more uphill and it is tough to hold the green even with a wedge. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

Nice course
Nice course, slow pace of play when packed. Greens are well maintained, staff is very friendly.
Course is very pure. Greens can be challenging. If you stay on the fairways and avoid bunkers it’s a very easy course to score on. Challenging elevated holes require you to be accurate off the tee box to set up an easier approach shot. Guy in the clubhouse is always awesome. Allows you to decide to play front or back if you go during twilight in order to get the most play for your pay.
Love love the five star review! Thank you for taking time to comment ! We look forward to seeing you again soon!!
Great experience playing there. The staff is really friendly and professional. It's physically challenging if you choose to walk (in special the back nine holes), so if you struggle with your fitness just pick a cart and enjoy.
Thank you for your favorable comments regarding your recent golf round at Lapeer Country Club. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

WORTH. THE. DRIVE.
You cannot beat 20 bucks walking 18 holes on a weekend. You just can't. What a great track this is! The 2018 state finalist Lapeer Lighning play here and they missed out on states this past spring by a stroke. This great team, unsurprisingly, gets to play a great course! I played this course once before this review and it was super wet. No fault on LCC's part, it just rained 2-3 inches the night before. I decided to come back once it got drier, as I was astonished at the value for the money. I know that the rates were late season but peak season weekend with a cart as far as I know is only 40 dollars. For what you're getting, it is quite a deal. The tee boxes are in great shape and they even have divot mix on them. The bunkers are cut very nicely around the edges and the sand is in good condition and filled. The greens are, however, the crown jewel. They are unbelievable. Smooth and LIGHTNING FAST! The course may be public but they sure as heck run like a private club! A great test of your short game as many greens are multi tiered and/or crowned. I really enjoyed the layout. The par threes were either super long or super short. The 4th is only 105 but the 11th is 230! I almost hit driver! The par fours are tight and some have many elevation changes such as 12, 15 and 16, and the par fives are a good chance to right the ship in your round. Only 2 of the 5 exceed 500 yards from the tips. They'll always let you walk even on weekends which I'm a big fan of. The clubhouse is so beautiful and it, the 10th tee, and the 13th green offer unbelievable views of Lake Nepessing. Please give LCC a try! You will not regret it!

Great time had by all
Very welcoming at the club house.
Pace of play was good.
Course conditions were good for late season play.
Hills galore slow play for weekend
Very hilly. A lot of blind shots. Course was extremely slow the day we played. Probably won’t go back. 1 hour drive. I called the ranger. He notified the slow players but it didn’t help. He should have asked the slow players to let us play through.
Great course
Nice course, fairways and greens in great condition. Did play slow in the morning.
Enjoyable round
Good value for the money - a little bit slow on pace of play (4 hours, 45 minutes for 18), but the weather was so good we didn't care.
A good mix and short and long holes. Don't have to be the straightest off of the tee on many holes, but you can't be too wild, either. Being under the hole is imperative on many of the greens.
I'll be back soon.
Perfect day
Great course. Great hot and beer at the turn All for a great price. See ya soon
Pace of play was the only issue I had with this course. Will play again while visiting this area.
Thank you so much for your favorable review of Lapeer Country Club! We realize at times the course is busy (which is a good thing) and slows play down some. We will look at moving play along better next time! Kelly Nelson, Owner
