Keep driver in the bag
There are very few driving holes, even on par fives. Course was in great shape, greens were soft but very very slow.
Course is in Good shape
14 different courses this year and this is by far one of my favorites.. they manage the course well and it seems to always have a good flow. Will definitely be back a couple more times this year ..
Great for the price, the clubs personnel are even better!
We love golfing there. The price is right, and the employees are terrific. It is quite a drive for us but we enjoy the course. It's enough challenge for my game. Well maintained. I have to LOVE it, since I got a HOLE-IN-ONE on #12.
Somebody screwed up.
I drove 30 miles from my residence to golf Castle Creek. I golf here four times a month, usually on Mondays. I teed off at 10:00am. When I reached the turn the next three holes were jam packed with kids playing golf. I think it was the first tee program. I packed up my equipment and left the course. I questioned the lady in the clubhouse and she shrugged her shoulders. I paid for 18 holes and played nine. Needless to say I won’t be back.
Good pace of play
Greens were in decent shape considering our lack of rain. The tee boxes were rock hard and could use some water. There were three single players who were behind us. We stopped and allowed them to play brought. Other than that, this was a nice leisurely round. I’ve never played this course in the afternoon. When we were finishing up on hole eighteen, there was a boisterous , loud foursome on hole number nine. If they are an example of what happens on this course in the evenings. I’ll continue to play in the mornings.
Great
The course is in better shape this year than last! Not saying it was bad last year. Great time

Good value
Fun course. A few surprising water hazards and tricky doglegs - get the scorecard with layout on backside. No sand traps.. Greens were slow but had some good character.

Course is looking good!
It’s early in the year and the course is looking good, best in years. With a few adjustments, leveling tee boxes, finer cut on the greens and bring in a food (shack/truck), course would a great every weekend destination.
