Hidden River Golf & Casting Club

This course is a must see if you are golfing in northern Michigan! The golf pro was extremely accommodating and friendly. The course had the views you expect when playing in northern Michigan as well as a good mix of challenging holes.

This course is awesome. First time playing and will definitely be back. Course was in great shape for early spring in Northern Michigan. The course conditions would have gotten a 5 star in another couple weeks once the weather breaks. Holes were all unique and greens were in great shape. Considerable water but generally friendly. 20' high wooden truss cart bridge with the Maple River bisecting the course. Staff was very helpful and friendly. This is a must play!

I play here every week and it's just as challenging every time around. The conditions are always excellent and the scenery is always changing but never the less awesome. Price, value, friendliness, professionalism,...If you're planning a trip to the areas, make time to get up here and try it out. You won't be disappointed.

The condition of this course is absolutely unbelievable and it's only mid-April! The fairways and greens look and play as if it was mid-July. The greens have no winter mold whatsoever and roll very true with good speed. The head pro and clubhouse staff were so friendly, the way they treated my friends and I completely exceeded my expectations. I would give Hidden River Golf and Casting Club 6 Stars if this site would let me. Highly recommend!!! If you have the opportunity to play this track, Do Not pass it up...one of the Top Operations in Michigan...Period!

I have played Hidden River three times and I will be back again. One of my favorite golf courses in the north western Michigan. The course is in excellent shape. The holes are very challenging. I would recommend this course to anyone and any playing ability.

The first three holes are relatively easy, then there are some challenging holes. The course is in excellent shape and seems to play longer than the yardage on the card. Greens are large and it can be difficult to read the breaks on some holes. A good mix of fair holes and some that are quite difficult. Some of the shorter holes can be quite challenging, so beware!

We had booked 18 but it started storming after nine holes. Golf Now was very easy to work with to get the back nine credited to my account. Pleased with the experience.

You can'take go wrong here. Wonderful condition and lots of tee options. Plays well for a 7 And 17 handicap. Women love it.

Immaculate is the term that comes to mind with this Northern Michigan hidden gem that not too many people seem to know about. No one in front of us and no one behind on a nice Sunday afternoon. Fairways and greens are in perfect, beautiful condition, as always. Very playable; fair greens, with some quite challenging holes. 1 of my very favorite courses!

It had been a while since I last played the course. It's still one of my favorites up North still. Everything was just as I had remembered. Can't say enough about the course and staff! A must play!

Lay out was great. The greens were amazing. I could not find one weed in the fairway. Having a water station at the club house would be nice. We are going back!

I like this course the best of all the great Northern Michigan courses. Scenic views are abundant, course is in fantastic shape, each hole is unique, very friendly staff and nice club house with excellent food.

Shot the best is several years at this course. Actually outplayed my wife for the first time in years!

If I lived in this area I would probably golf here at least once or twice a month. Very upscale feel to the course. Had early tee time, two of us were done in little over 3 hours (even probably spent normal amount of time looking for wayward shots) Maintenance staff very courteous,while mowing fairways, greens, etc, as soon as they saw us they would move out of way and turn mowers off.Clubhouse staff very professional and helpful.

We love this course and play it every time we are in the area. The first couple holes are pretty straight forward and then comes the challenges. Overall if you keep your ball in the fairway you are good. It is a beautiful well maintained course. Love it!
