2nd Green. Very large, two tiered green which is tough to hold coming up the hill. Nice view as well as it's one of the highest points on the course. Photo submitted by u314161955381 on 10/27/2022

17th green. Super fun risk reward par five at 512 with water in front of the green. Belted a 5 wood from 235 to here and this was what I had for eagle. I missed it, sadly but still made birdie. Photo submitted by u314161955381 on 10/27/2022

Bad day
Only got 4 holes in and no rain check because it was a hot deal on golf ⛳️ now
Reliable fun.
Course needs some work, but overall in OK shape. Took some young boys learning the game.... great course for that!
Good course with challenges.
Nice course. Some pretty tough greens. Give your putter a workout.
Eh
Not the worst for the price but the tee boxes were just random patches of grass and not cut. Pin locations were on edges of bad slopes.
Course was good
Pace of play was slow. People jump around really holding up play. Also got held up behind a group of 7 men. We also had a lawn mower follow for 3 holes.
Solid, Chill Public Track with Fantastic Greens
I was able to get out before an outing and it was truly a treat to play here. I have NEVER played a course this good for 15 bucks. (25 to walk 18 in peak season). The rating is a little low as USGA G.A.M. has the course at a 69.1/121 instead of 68.8/119 and the yardage is more like 6150 as hole 12 is now 165 from the blue instead of 143 and hole 15 is 320 instead of 299. That's just from my experience. I appreciated the heck out of the layout they were able to make of this course. The par fours ranged from just 284 all the way to 432 and the greens had a lot of dimension with both variations in size, shape, and slope. Par threes ranged from 145 to 210. Some holes were pretty tight like number 8, 11, and 13 while others gave you a golden opportunity to absolutely rip it like holes 3,4, and 9. The bunkers were in good shape, filled adequately with good quality sand, and the crown jewel was the greens. Not many public courses have greens this good. They were running at probably a 10.5 and weren't bumpy at all even with aeration holes still closing up. Pretty easy to get a tee time as well just cuz this course doesn't have the publicity that say, Bucks Run, Pohlcat, the Fields, or the Emerald do in this area. They let you walk it and a lot of people do. Hot spot for locals.
Only bad parts about it are that the parking lot is kind of a mess, as its mostly gravel and lots of weeds and some people just will park in the grass off to the side, and the fairway grass was just a little bit long. Then again, things to expect at public courses who don't have fancy PGA tour quality mowers. Overall a very nice local place, a fair challenge for any golfer, that I look forward to playing again when I'm living in Mecosta County for most of the year.

A nice value course
For 20 to 30 bucks with cart this is a good course. Roughs and even the fairways were a bit dry/hard (with the ongoing drought, that's easy to understand) but the area around the greens was well watered and receptive to incoming shots. The greens were well maintained.
8/20/22 Trip
The course is in dire need of rain. With that being the case the course is about as good as it can be.
First Time
First time playing this course, really enjoyed the rolling hills, I shot a 45, on the back nine, my best score since taking golf back up last fall!
had to be the best round i shot my entire life...putted very well
Played like a links
Fairways in so so condition however green's and t -boxes in great shape ! Play the roll or die at this course. Had a fantastic time and seen so much wildlife on the course. Here is a pic I took on a par 3, hole number 7.
