Chase Hammond Golf Course

My wife and I were vacationing in Muskegon, and we decided to play some golf. We booked a hot deal on GolfNow for Chase Hammond at $17 per person. We weren't expecting too much for the price, but we were more than pleasantly surprised. First off, the staff was super friendly and made our experience an enjoyable one. As for the course, it is well maintained. It has tons of oak trees, and it gives the feeling that you are out there all alone. We found that quite relaxing. The fairways and greens were also well kept. Most of the holes were fairly straight, but still provided enough challenge. We enjoyed the course so much that we already booked another tee time there for the last day of our vacation. I highly recommend this course for golfers of all skill levels. You won't be disappointed.

we had a great day of golf, the weather was perfect, the course was new and fun. the only downer was the slow pace of play. but we had nothing to get home to so we just relaxed and made the best of it. would love to play here again.

I wouldn't play here without a hot deal price. It's not a bad course. Tight fairways and a few greens were really challenging to read. Overall had a good time.

Course was in beautiful shape! Had a great time at Chase!

The fairways and greens were in very good condition. Since the last time I was there they have cleared out some trees and there seemed like less bugs out there attacking you while playing.

This course makes you use a number of clubs due to the beautiful nature surrounding it, and a few overhanging trees in the Fairways! Greens were in pretty nice shape for early-season.

Golf Now should require courses to post Aerification alerts. The rest of the course was great, but the greens were recently punched and it was like putting in a sand trap on most holes. Will try the course again next season during prime season to see what it is really like to play here.

Very good condition will play again

This course was in good shape overall. The greens were quick and sharp, fairways trimmed, and rough was clean of debris. The restaurant was nice but the clubhouse was lacking. Very limited stock of apparel, gear and clubs.

Two downfalls:
1) Tee boxes were terrible. Poor location of markers, uneven and chewed up. Worst part about the course!

2) Ball cleaners were poorly maintained. Needed cleaning and fresh water as well as new towels.

course was in great shape and aside from a couple of old guys who refused to pick up their pace or allow us to play thru...it was a great day!

I play this course 4 or 5 times a season and have always had a good experience. Course is well kept, it is fairly challenging and yet the price is very reasonable.. Stay out of the trees and you will do fine. If you get into the trees, in most places it is cleared well so your ball can be found.

I had played this course a month ago and it was in pretty good shape. Came back last week and couldnt believe how good it looked. I play alot of courses in the area and it is definitely one of the best. Staff was friendly and the course was in great shape!

I Play this course a couple times per week. A few hundred trees were logged in the winter, but the course is recovering great! It Is definitely improving and it is well worth the money!! Highly recommended

Fun layout. They logged over 500 hundred trees in the winter. Few spots that got damaged but the course is recovering and shaping up well. Only can see the course getting better now that they took some trees out.
