The large greens were very challenging. There were some blind shots to make. Maybe add some markers to tell how far you have to carry some of the water.
Best course in area
Just turned 71, played from the ride tees for the first time and had fun. Course is still challenging and in great shape
Great corse. Greater hospitality.
From the moment of arrival, we felt welcomed and well-hosted by the people who work at El Dorado golf course. The course itself is very good with the greens being VERY good.
Very enjoyable round for all levels and many well-marked tee blocks to choose from.
Quality and value
First time playing. Course in great shape. Quick greens. Really interesting layout, with hazards that make you play different clubs than you might be used to. Very good value. Will definitely bring back guests and play this one again.
Great Experience
From the minute we arrived to the time we left the staff was outstanding. Everyone me met was friendly and helpful. Loved the course. Would recommend to anyone looking for the total golf experience.
Solid Hidden Gem
Course was in great shape, greens were smooth and fast,
PACE: Was the first one out and never say anyone behind me. Enjoyed my morning exploring this course.
CONDITIONS: Tee, fairways, greens, and bunkers all in excellent conditions. Yardage markers seemed a bit sparse... this course is "begging" for a 150 barber pole.
STAFF: Incredible. Very helpful and sociable.
VALUE: At this price point I've played courses with GPS in the carts. If you're not going to do a 150 barber pole, maybe GPS?
LAYOUT: Lots of fun. Very few blind tee shots. Forced carries do occur, but they are manageable. Good use of elevation. Everything is good... except for the 18th hole. As I said when I was leaving: "that hole needs a safe word." Go give it a try.
El dorado
My wife and we’re on vacation in Michigan and we’re looking for some places to play , then we stumbled on to this excellent course. From start to finish this place was great. From the pro to the cart girl we were treated like we were members of a private club. Course conditions were excellent from the tee boxes thru the greens. If this corse were in my neck of the woods, Philly, you could easily charge over a hundred bucks.
Fantastic !!
Played this course on my way to Arcadia Bluffs and I thoroughly enjoyed every bit about this is place. Fairways and greens were in immaculate conditions.
Pace of play was terrific- never ran into group ahead and finished under 4 hours.
Really big greens and fast, but that is also the challenging aspect of this course.
For $50 range you’re getting a championship caliber course. Will play here again for sure
Hidden gem
We played this course on our way to Traverse City and are so glad we did. The course condition was excellent. We were going off at 1000 and arrived early to warm up. We teed of early as there was no one in front of us and finished the round in just over 3 hours. Great tee box and yardage choices but they definitely didn't make any if the Par 3's easy as you had to carry some kind of hazard on all if them. Still had a great time and would definitely come back.
Challenging
Course is in great shape, it was a little windy, the Course played tough I'll play it again
Great Course Great Shape
Always in top notch shape and staff is above and beyond helpful.
Great Course
First time played this was an excellent golf course. Well maintained, friendly staff and somewhat challenging. Definitely will be back here to play!
All Positives
Nice variety. Course is in great shape. Large greens that roll true. Friendly staff.
Great course next to expressway
Love playing Eldorado. Have played 4 times this year and love the greens and fairways. Rough is lush but not punishing and with 5 sets of tees it can be played by anyone. Will definitely play again this year and thinking hard about becoming a member next year.
We're glad you enjoyed your 5-star experience with us. Please comment or reach out to our team in the golf shop to let us know more about your round at Eldorado!
