The best customer service in the area
Salem Hills is a great course for the money. The staff is extremely friendly. The course was in very good condition. Highly recommend the course bases on value, staff, and quality of food.
Pleasant course
Wonderful course friendly staff great conditions. They were ready for play, that has come early this season. Course is challenging without being difficult. It has a good variety of holes allowing to play all the clubs in my bag.
Comfortable to Play
A relatively open course, with large greens that is well maintained. Pace of Play was 4 hours on a weekday.
Salem Hills
The course was in great shape.
Greens cut and fast.
Fairways very good.
Glad to have spent my day at Salem Hills.
It was too slow. We started a 18 hole course at 4:30 pm and could not complete the 17th hole due to delay. The ranger asked to bring the cart back by 8:45 pm although sunset was at 9:08 pm.
Great course and value
Played after a heavy week of rain so it was cart path only on several holes and several holes were still really wet. Besides that, the course was in excellent shape and greens were great!
Great public course
One of the best public courses in the area. Tee to green in awesome condition. Fairways could rival some private clubs. It has been a very dry spring and start to summer. This course is in far better shape than most. Staff friendly cart girls out frequently on a Friday morning. Took some people whom hadn’t played at this course and everyone agreed need to play again!
Nice track
Pretty open off the tee boxes. We happened to play a 3 some and were pressing the twosome in front of us most of the day. They were playing deeper tees than they should have!
Great Course
Great course, in great condition for early season here in MI. Played twilight, teed off at 5:36 and got through 15 holes before sunset at about 8:15 so I would say pace of play was pretty great.
Are you kidding me?
Redemption attempt failed. Last time out the round took nearly 6 hours but the course was nice so I was hoping for better experience today. NOPE. Course extremely flooded with only 14 holes opened but allowed us to book 18 holes. Charged the walking rate of $50 discount for cart path only 14 waterlogged holes. Manager on duty a sarcastic “well I sent you an email” (which I still can’t seem to find). That was my last time wasting money there. Don’t waste yours.
