North at Whiteford Valley Golf Club

I played Whiteford Valley a coupe of years ago and vowed not to return. Needed a tee time so I tried it once again, and I was pleasantly surprised with the course.

Great to see this course making a comeback.

The rough was very long and the amount of dandelion made it very difficult to find balls that would end up there. The rough was at least 5-6” in spots and the dandelions took over. Making it near impossible to locate balls at any distance.

Very unmanaged coarse. Clumps and clumps of grass everywhere. Drove directly over ball while looking for it. If you don't step on it you won't find it. Even the fairway shots were not visible from the tee box. The 1st cut was like a 2nd cut and the 2nd cut was like it was never cut. Greens were in good shape though. I paid 20 bucks for a round after all discounts and for 20 bucks I would play again but no more than 20 bucks.

Very good shape, I like playing this course it’s very manageable at 5700 yds.

Decent course, my only complaint would be the same as others. Stay out of the rough, because it’s tall and thick. Be prepared to lose a few balls in it.

Other than that, I would recommend it to others looking for a new course to try out.

The rough was so long you couldn’t find your ball and if you did it was impossible to hit it. So slow because everybody is looking for their ball.

Have played the north course, and enjoyed this one a more.

I really enjoy the layout and most of all the people that work there always friendly, always helpful

Despite all of the rain we have had, the course was in overall good shape. The greens and fairways are in very good shape. The rough is very long, but considering the rain in should be expected. The sand traps need work and some of the tees could be better maintained. Overall, well worth the price

Normally this course is good playing. However, this time the closed the course to me even though people were teeing off at the time at 1pm. No rain in siite and no explanation as to why the closed. I now lost my $4.95 service fee. Is there any way to get this back?

This was my first time at this course. I am no t a professional, but I have played enough different course to comfortably state that this is probably the most confusing and poorly layed out course I have ever played. There were not always definitive cart paths to the next holes. I found myself confused on multiple occasions as to where the next tee box was. On some holes the ball washer was over 20 feet away from the tee boxes. A diagram of hole layout would have been helpful at each hole. The parking lot was in total disrepair. The course itself however was in good condition as were the greens and the staff was friendly. Overall, there a better options in my opinion

Pace of play was terrible due to the course being way overbooked. Can’t complain too much, paid $25 for 18 on a Sunday morning for a solid course.
