Sunset view of 13th green. Hardest, longest hole in the golf course. Green is deep, look where the pin is Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 08/25/2019

17th green. Three tiered with two sections guarded by water. You end up on the wrong third of the green and you may have to putt through some fringe or chip over some rough WITH YOUR BALL ON THE GREEN in order to reach the right tier. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 08/25/2019

Left of the 1st green. Tee shot is 40 to 50 feet downhill and approach shot is slightly uphill again. The entire green slopes from back left to front right. Do not go in the left bunker especially with this pin placement. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 08/25/2019

Devil's Ridge
Nice course! Plays great for women, a strategy type course. Love the challenge.
Always a challenge
For a Monday that most people were off work the course was packed. Pace of play started very slow but still finished under 5 hours which we all thought was going to be a 6 hour round. Course in good shape with exception of 3rd hole. Don’t know what happened there but was badly damaged from something. Always like playing there with the elevation changes.
Best course around
Staff was there to help immediately and the course played like a private course! Fantastic time!
Great golf course, not for 1st time players
Course is always in good condition, you need to evaluate every shot in order to finish with a good score
Devil’s Ridge a challenging tight course
Had a great time playing today, front nine, which we were instructed to play thru 13 to make it closer returning to the clubhouse, offered lots of water, some tight tee boxes and great views! Only minor downside were that a couple of holes cut close to each other and created some OB but the creative layout wasn’t bothersome. Had a great time, will be back for sure.
Great views odd layout
This course was pretty great in terms of views. We had holes that overlooked the trees that you would typically find in northern Michigan. The golf was great, but I was getting lucky a lot. I hit a lot of drives that had they moved much left or right at all I would have been in trouble, so I agree with other comments stating that GPS would be helpful on the cart. The layout is pretty confusing. Signs make it easy to find your way, but there are a lot of holes that I think should be flipped around. With all of the great holes in the middle, it feels like the last four holes are a bit underwhelming. Feels like those holes should be the first four holes to get you warmed up to the course.
NEVER AGAIN
Was treated most unfairly by staff. Do not attempt to 'sneak' outside beverages in. No matter how much you try to buy those beverages from them, they will escort your entire 4-some off their course from the 7th hole. They will then try and fabricate a false police report to try and intimidate you and your 4-some to try and give them extra money after-the-fact. Was completely floored receiving a call from the head pro the next morning who tried getting extra money for 'damages' my 4-some created. Let me tell you, we didn't do a thing. All false. Yet he still had the audacity to LIE to my face, claim to file a police report, and demand someone call him with CC info to pay. This is a JOKE of a golf course. Rinky-dink operation. If you wanna be overcharged to play a crummy course, I suggest Sylvan Glenn or Sanctuary Lake. At least they won't kick you off, or fabricate false police reports.
Great staff!
From the young man at the golf drop, the pro shop, the starter to the beer cart girl.. very hospitable. Even meet the owner , also a solid guy. Great course go play it!
Sunny Skies!
Is what a beautiful day to play golf. I went as a solo and got hooked up with 3 individuals that I enjoyed playing with very much. Pace was a little slow but that's to be expected on a beautiful day like this. The course was in great condition and of course the 1st hole is beautiful off of the Tee Biz!!
