The 4th hole, short par 4 at 330. Uphill tee shot where you have to make a field goal. Out of bounds behind the green and a deep awake left. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 10/26/2020

The 5th hole, instant death if you top or chunk it. long par 3 at 208 yards. Over water to a very small green that slopes severely from back left to front right. Miss long and you’ll be sorry. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 10/26/2020

Behind the green on #5. Tough pin position in the back of the green. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 10/26/2020

The 15th green. Long par 3 at 195. OB to the right, deep valley before the green. Beautiful fall foliage on this hole. Big green, look where the pin is. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 10/26/2020

The 18th fairway. Beautiful view of the lake. Easy green to hit if your tee shot is in the fairway. No trees to worry about and all you have to do is land it short and let it bounce down the hill. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 10/26/2020

Call for pricing before buying on GolfNow
I was told if I made the tee time myself it would have been at a lower rate because of the fall rates. My fault for not contacting course first, GolfNow has always been good for best deals but not sure on this one. Great course with friendly staff
Rough shape
Played the back tees, front 9 is very easy measuring around 2,950. Back 9 is just a strange layout. One par 5 is 646, and a par 4 at 477. Total of over 3,600. 75% of the greens were aerated and top dressed, so it was like putting on a cobblestone road filled with sand. I won't play it again and was concerned about my car getting hit by a golf ball in the parking lot.
Fun course, first time playing
I grew up in Oxford, graduated in 1991. I didn't golf in high school, though I now wish I had. I was swinging back thru Oxford on the way home from a concert in Detroit and decided to play a round at Oxford Hills. It was a great day, the weather was nice and I very much enjoyed myself. A couple greens were being aerated, which wasn't ideal, but it happens. I would go back again, especially for the low price
Fantastic Course
Love this course. Great pace of play with lots of challenging holes. The staff is awesome.
Just golf
This is a low price green fee golf course, and relatively easy. Sometimes it’s more fun to go out and play against yourself instead of against a Course that’s riddled with hazards and difficulty. The course has no sand bunkers, and the rough is easy to hit from. We played in 3.5 hours and had people pushing behind us. The course could be walked, unlike so many of these northern lower Michigan course is cut out of the forest. If they added 50 bunkers and let the second cut of rough grow, they could charge double but I doubt that is the intent.
Good course for the money
Front nine layout is not my favorite but the back nine holes I really enjoy playing
Slow
Two times in a row the front nine has taken forever.
