Nice Course & Friendly Staff
Played Glenbrier for the first time this weekend was pleasantly surprised by the course. Had some fun and challenging par 4s and a few long par 5s that were fun to play. A lot of water hazards and great views. Course was nicely maintained and greens were great.
I had an issue booking a tee time (on me) and Jeff at the front desk couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. A+ customer service. Will be returning regularly.
Diamond in the Outskirts
15 minutes outside of the Lansing area. Well manicured, great prices, friendly employees. This course is my go-to. Perfect ratio of “I love this hole” to “Ok, focus... you’ve got this. Mmm... next time you’ll do better”...
Well maintained course.
Glenbriar golf course is a very good course for mid to high handicapped golfers. This course is fun to play, very well maintained, with friendly staff and a very good club house and banquet facilities.
While I can say this course was pretty nice, if a little more time was put into the tee boxes to level them, it would make a huge difference.
Pretty nice layout with a few good holes. Several of the par fours and fives are good holes requiring decent shots to score well.
We enjoyed a lot for all challenging holes.
We will definitely come to play again.
Great course for mid to high handicappers
This course is well maintained and quite pretty. It has a nice mixture of difficult and very playable holes which for mid to high handicappers make it an enjoyable course to play.
Asked to tee off early.due to rain in the forecast. Course said no due to a hot deal. Said it would mess up other tee times. The course was not busy about 8 cars in parking lot. The course also said they don't make any money on golf now with hot deals. Rain came and only played 13 holes. Never ran into any other golfer could of easily let us out to get a complete round in.
Very Easy Course
This course was very nice even though it was still so early in the season. However, not a very tough course but still would be great for beginners!
I had a great time golfing this course, it's kind of tough however playable for a crappy golfer like myself lol. The staff was great. The only flaw was we had a young Asian couple that were playing so slow the group behind of us had 6 players and was right on our butts, we had 2 players. We asked them a couple times if we could pass they would say yes yes and keep hitting. Other than that great day, thanks again
Nice course with a small driving range
Will definitely play again
Multiple times I’ve got tee time to find that when I get there it is hosting some event or school tournament.
I’ll Return to golf here
The course is well maintained and has a good mix of open/easier holes with a couple difficult holes mixed in. The staff was friendly. They were mowing during my round and all of the crew cut-off their machines when we got to the green, so no complaints there. Plan on returning to play again this weekend.
Hidden upscale course
New carts, full bar and restaurant, well maintained and challenging course, and friendly staff. What more could you ask for?
Course in good shape. Fairways are tight and greens small so have it together when playing here. Target golf makes you better, will play here again.
This course is nicely laid out
The course was in good condition and laid out nicely. The greens were receptive, a little slow but that could be the result of keeping them slightly longer because of the excessive heat and keeping them well watered. it was enjoyable to play and the staff was very friendly. They have a serviceable practice area for driving, chipping, sand work and nice practice greens. My wife and I played and found it a fair challenge for all lengths of ball strighters. We will play the course again and the only suggestion that I would have is a short printed guide for new users telling them the length to hazzards or doglegs. We hesitated several times trying to guess layup or carry distances and the guide would be a one time effort and helpful until the newer players get used to the very interesting course. We did use every club in the bag.
A fun round.
