Great deal close to home
Not a long course, but still some challenging holes. Greens are big and in decent shape for mid-April. Tee boxes and fairways are in a good shape. Sand was also maintained well for this time of year. Pace was great on the front 9, but got a little backed up after the turn. Especially for the price of a hot deal, it was very much worth it to golf this course.
It was a decent course, I know it's early in the year but the greens were some of the slowest I've ever putted on, made the experience less enjoyable.
The feel of winter
It was wet, cold, windy and a little rain but the course was very playable. The greens were in very good shape for this time of year.
confusing course
The challenge was getting around the course. The long stretch between holes and the over and back between holes is a little different. The set up of hole 11 was a little crazy as well. We totally missed the 12th hole. Some of the landscape views on the course was nice. I thought the course was in fairly good condition. The carts leaves a lot to be desired . Not sure if I will play this course again.
Nice course, good for building Confidence
Nice course. Somewhat crowded, each time playing ran into slowdowns on back nine.
Greens slow, too many unrepaired pitch marks by previous players!
As usual met really nice guys, pleasurable round of golf.
crystal lake
the golf course are in very good conditions !
Nice little track
Nice little track. We thoroughly enjoyed playing it.
It's short but not what I would call super easy. We WILL RETURN to play it again!
Course improvements have paid off.
This course always had an appeal for its layout and level of play. The new owners have increased the visual appeal, especially hole #14, by maintaining the landscaping around the course. The greens putt consistently and the rough is maintained well.
Coupon Course
Beautiful course, however its short. Can challenge you. Back has more water, but front is longer. Not worth more than $30 to ride 18 holes so look for deals.
Enjoy the day ,except .......
I arrived there for an afternoon tee time. I wish they had group the golfers better to make the pace of play better. By the the time my son and I got to the back, we sat for at least twenty minutes before we could tee off. "I Decided", to ask the two some behind us if they wanted to play with me and my friend. At least it would make the pace of play better. It did. But, this is something the starter should have done. Otherwise, I enjoyed the course and would play it again.
Very pleased!!
This is a great place to play. I've never been to a course with more fantastic people!! The staff is super friendly and accommodating, the course is awesome, and the people my groups have been paired up with were great!! This course does it right!!
Great First 18 Hole Experience!
Was my first time playing 18 holes and had a pretty good experience. Staff was friendly, pace was good and the course was well kept. Would definitely recommend to others and would play again myself!
Nice and easy
The course was not busy at three PM, we played quickly, 2 hours 20 minutes including at least 15 minutes for a rain delay. Course was in nice condition, the greens were flat and rolled true. Great
value, I woud play here again.
Surprising Gem I've Never Played
This course was fun! Not long and well manicured. It's close to home and I don't know how I missed this one for the past 50 years.
Hidden Gem
This was a smooth paced course with fun holes and drive-able Par 4's, a great track for weekend hackers. The course was very well managed and quite beautiful.
Good value
Greens were in good shape and $24 for 18 with cart was excellent value. My son and I enjoyed the course
a classic
the former Pontiac muni is a must play.its in good shape and the staff are the best.
Unexpectedly Nice Course
A very nice course with nice views in Pontiac. It is a short course but plays well from the tips. Conditions were very good. Will play again.
Great condition
Course was in great condition especially for the end of April. It's a short course that is not very hard but the great condition and fun holes like island par 3 make it well worth it. Pace of play was very fast.
We are glad you enjoyed the course as we have really put a lot of time into getting it back into great shape.
We apologize for the pace of play on the back 9. Our starters try their best to pair people up according to their tee time. We understand that sometimes there can be a "slow group" holding up the course which can cause a backup. We try our best to keep the pace of play around 4-4.5 hours on the weekends. We hope to see you back real soon.
