Fun course good for improvement skills challenging with close fairways
Greens nicely kept
We got a hot deal for $6 and it wasn't worth that. Course was in terrible condition. It was very dry, brown and dirt in the fairways. Tee boxes were like cement and the greens were extremely slow. I will never go there again.
Worst course in Mid-Michigan!
It was difficult to locate grass, in the fairways, or around the greens. Greens were shaggy and very slow! Takes a hammer to put a tee in the ground on all the tee boxes. Slow play. The club house was probably built in the 1920"s, and smelled of decades of water damage. Under no circumstances would I ever consider playing this cow pasture again! We payed for 18, and left after 9! Extremely disappointing!
do not play this course.
Course is terrible & dangerous. U can get hit from other golfers on about any hole from players else where on the course.
course is worse than it use to be years ago & even more dangerous the way they have reajusted holes.
Um, I've played this course for over 30 years. None of the holes have been re-adjusted one iota!!
This course is great for the beginners yet challenging for average golfers. Friendly staff greeted us upon arrival. Course was maintained well. Greens were in great condition. They are not large but they also are challenging. Enjoyed our day there!
Nice little course for everyone.
The course is not what I'd expect at all. The fairways are pretty narrow and the greens are fairly small. There are a lot of hills and elevation changes. The course is short on the front nine, par 34. There are only two sets of tees, red and white. However, this course is pretty open when you miss shots. It's a great course to start learning and really dial in your irons. The greens were slow but in great shape. The layout of the clubhouse is a bit strange, but the staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely play this course again.
Good course for new golfers
Took my daughter who is new to the game. Course is perfect for beginners. Easy pace of play, friendly golfers. Condition of course was good not great. Staff friendly.
Nice Course, Poor Clubhouse
The greens and fairways were smooth and well maintained. Had some trouble finding the tee-box for hole 17. Made me think the holes were renumbered at some point. The clubhouse is old and in need of a serious renovation. However, the value for the money was great. We got to the course 45 minutes early and were able to play right away. There were some hills, so walking all 18 holes would be a challenge.
Good for the money
The course was in good shape, even with the rain. Was a great course off the gold tee,s for seniors. Played some of my best.
Course is in excellent condition. Weather was perfect and play was steady with no waiting.
terrific course for the price
Played a very enjoyable round there on a weekday morning. The fairways are in terrific shape, and the rough is very fair.
More than your moneys worth
Course knowledge would be very helpful. A variety of different types of holes. Get to use a lot of different clubs. Greens were fair. Drove an hour and half to play and will go back
The course is nice, clean & in good shape. Everyone at the course was friendly. A good course to play & a great value with last minute golfer!
Good for practice, if cheap
The course maintenance was lacking. Long grass on the fairways. The greens were in really rough shape. Bumpy, long grass and just overall not well taken care of.
There were a few times where my partner or myself would hit just off the fairway and not be able to find the ball because it was so gnarled and long. I understand that rough is supposed to be a part of the course, but it seemed a bit excessive.
Hole layout was another issue for me. Share tee boxes for multiple holes. No way to get to some tee boxes without crossing in front of a different teebox or green. Directions not well laid out on the more confusing locations. To get to the 17th teebox from the 16th green you need to cross directly behind another green and another hole's teebox as well.
fairway,s need to be mowed shorter the green,s are in bad shape
over all rating is real bad the people are real nice it need,s some work on the green,s and fairway, but I do consider it is the first of October it is late in the season so I would have to play it in early season mayby it is maintained better then but for the money it was ok thank you
Golfers of the Corn
For the money it sufficed. Half the greens are in bad shape. At least they put the pin placement where it was okay. Course has lots of irrigation ditches crossing the fairways. Almost one per hole. Tees and greens were very close to each other and were confusing to say the least. 7th hole and 17th hole greens were side by side. I played the wrong green by mistake. One tee hosted to two holes. But a good place to improve your game and become a well rounded gopher/golfer.
