Springfield Oaks Golf Course

Excellent value for the money. Really, I should be giving a very bad review so this course can be my best kept secret.

Nice Oakland County course! Course is in good shape and seems to have survived the winter well. New irrigation system has been installed recently throughout the course. Greens are in good condition on most holes. Short course in distance, but narrow challenging fairways, especially when playing the back nine! Lots of seniors play this course, including myself! Green fees are reasonable. However, I wish they had a reward system for frequent play, like the metro parks in the area. When you add a friendly staff and new concession management, this course is one of my favorites.

This course is fantastic. Challenging but not cruel. Very well maintained.

But.............all the times I've visited, the pace of play has been brutally slow. I mean bring a magazine to read while you wait for an open tee box slow. Why do I keep returning? The course is fantastic.

An effective ranger could make this the #1 course in SE Mi. I remain hopeful.

You will not be disappointed playing here. The course was immaculate and the staff VERY courteous. I will be playing here again, and again.

This is a well managed course with friendly staff.
The layout and condition are above other county golf courses. It offers variety of layouts among all 18 holes.
Good course management is important here to score well.
The only concern is the drainage system of hole 1 and 10; do not drain as well as they should.

Enjoyed playing. Greens are quite fast. It is critical to keep your approach shots below the whole. My round was played in under 3 1/2 hours.

A well maintained great county course. Open on the front and tight on the back. Beautiful course. Will go back a lot for sure. Got to golf for $10. What a deal. Thanks golfnow

nice, clean, well maicured challenging public course

It was my first time playing and I only chose the course because of the reviews. I didn't think a public course could live up to the reviews that were on this site. I was pleasantly surprised. It met and exceeded my expectations. The staff was great, the course was meticulous and the starter provided great weather (I asked!). The front nine was easier because it was more wide open. The back nine, some of the fairways were tighter to make it more challenging. The layout reminds me of northern Michigan and is very picturesque.

I will return.

Very nice wide open course. The greens and fairways were in excellent condition.

Two of us went to play on a Saturday afternoon. We did not get paired up with anyone and cruised around the course in under 4 hours. Although it isn't easy the course length is manageable if you keep it in play.

Can score if you keep it in play. The hot dogs are great!

Not only is the course somewhat difficult, it is very well taken care of. It has become the most beautiful public course I've played. Well worth the fees.

I like playing this course very scenic Hardly a flat lie and the greens are in great shape. Just wish the staff was more friendly but I don't golf with them. So I will be returning

Course is in exceptional condition & staff is very friendly & helpful.

Had not played there for 5 years or so. Was in complete shock. A beautiful course. Played with two of my best friends sis and daughter.

Course was in the best condition that I have seen this course in over five years.
Greens were very true and not bumpy.
Starter let us out 20 minutes early. Very friendly.

Because of a mix up with the course and GolfNow we only got to play the back nine.Of course,as always,GolfNow made up for the error and then some.Weve played here many times and it's always in nice shape.The fairways on the back are narrow and the greens are tough.
