Brookside
Nice little mom-and-pop golf course not the fanciest not the most provincial good value for the money!
Best time for GOLF
Had a GREAT first solo experience. Staff was friendly, the course was eady to follow. I will play again.
Nice place to play
This is a very nice course to play. Well taken care of. Staff is helpful and friendly. I would recommend this course to everyone. From the beginner to seasoned player.
Player
Great course. Easy enough for beginners but has a lot of challenges for more experienced players.
Great value - challenging course
The course is a great value, and challenging play, on front nine the trees/boundaries add a lot of challenge to shots as do placement of creeks (use a 3 wood on 3 and 4 unless you can carry 230 yeards with driver) . use a your 160 yard club on 13 unless you can carry 264 yards, or are tour like accurate on right fairway (20' wide). The 15th hole is a real challenge an island like green - go over or to right, in front your in the water so nail you approach shot to hit green. The fairway are maintained but not like premium courses, that said they are a challenge because grade is often inconsistent so your ability to interact with different turfs on your full swing is really tested. The greens are usually somewhat slow compared to other courses (about a 5) unless it is a dry week then they are a little faster.
Nice course
Great course to golf with your kids
Nice course
It's a nice course for the low price.
Great value - tight fairways
This is a great value, 18 hole course, staff friendly, can play 18 in 3.5 hours
Always been a joke
Brookside has always been a joke of a course but the cheap rounds would keep me coming back. The course has gotten so bad that it is not even close to worth it anymore. Not a single flat tee box, fairways and rough are cut at the same length, some fairways have patches of dirt showing everywhere, and some greens have clear cart marks straight through them. It is astounding to me that this course makes money.
Brookside Golf Course Is s Hidden Gem in Washtenaw County.
I have played at Brookside Golf Course on several occasions and each time that a golf there I jave a great time. The course is somewhst challenging, the greens are maintained, and the staff is very friendly. One great thing about Brookside is it's proximity to Ann Arbor, another feature is the luxurious homes that surrounds Brookside. I would suggest Brookside Golf Course to my friends for their golfing experience. Rj
Great course for the money
Brookside is a favorite - inexpensive and not crowded with a casual, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, and a course that is reasonably maintained. The greens are small, but that just balances the lack of sand trap challenges on most holes. I'll definitely be back.
conditions
The conditions were worth $10 but not a penny more.
love the course
I was there on a great sunny day with temperatures around 65 and it was perfect. The greens are small, but it is great to practice pitching wedges and short irons. The course was nearly empty. Everyone who loves quick fast rounds should go here to make a quick sweep golfing round.
Won't be back
Played Brookside to try a new course, will not be back. The course is not in good shape, a fair amount of dead patches. There weren't fairways or rough, all was the same length. The only positive was that there were not too many people on the course so the pace of play was very quick. I don't play the best courses as I am often just looking for a good deal. There are many better courses for about the same cost.
Simple round of 18
Fine course that I've been playing for a long time an d complain when you find it for 12$ on golf now
golf now .com
it was the first time I used golf now .com & it was great I am now a big fan. I am going to love the rest of my session.
You get a little less than you pay for
My main gripe here is that there is no marshal to control the pace of play.
I was booked as a single in a cart behind a single walking who was just behind a foursome in carts that were having too much fun looking for golf balls than hitting them.
Better planning and a marshal could have made this a four star value.
Wonderful to play at this course
I had a great time playing at this course. Well maintained fairways and green. Staffs were very friendly.
