Not worth the wait
This used to be a very well manicured golf course, but now it is over-watered and the greens very average (or below). Additionally, every tee was a mess. The second tee on the West course was so wet that you couldn't even step on it--and it hasn't rained in 10 days! Every ball hit in the fairway ended-up with mud on it. To add insult to injury, we waited at least 5 minutes on every single shot--all day. There were no rangers on the course and take note that there is NO drinking water available on the course. Every other course I play has water coolers on every third or fourth hole. With all the construction going on in South Lyon, it appears that this course may turn into a housing development soon. Sunday afternoon was no peace-and-quiet. There was construction gong on everywhere around the golf course. It's very busy and loud. Overall, a very disappointing and underwhelming course (and surrounding area). I will not be returning there anytime soon..
Bad conditions
I know it’s early in the season but the grass looked like crap and there was no raking of bunkers not worth the money till after spring
Late Summer/Fall
West Nine in Great shape with greens not arriated but south lots of sand on greens really not putable rest of course in great shape
Aeration on North Course
North Course greens were aerated however was told it was the South course - just needec an fyi - of course I still would have played because I enjoy the challenges of the courses.
Go down the street to links of novi
Save a few bucks and go down the road to links of novi. Course isn't in great shape , greens are tore up. If you're charging $75 a round carts should include GPS, and course should be in much better shape
Do Not Play This Course
Left my speaker in the cart, called the next morning, and the staff did not care that I lost it. I told them which cart and where it was located yet they somehow couldn’t find it. One of the staff must have stolen the expensive portable speaker. Do not trust this course. Can’t trust the staff. About the course, there is geese feces everywhere. Can’t ever recommend this course to anyone. Do not play here
