course okay for beginners and average players
No directions to next hole tee box or cart paths along correct fairways. Carts outdated and slow, score cards need updating
Poorly ran
Was booked from red to green only to be told they had a outting and we would have to play the orange course twice to play 18 how to you sell tee times that you don't have then act like its our fault not there's courses that are ran this way to be a banded by golfers tell there out of business
good day just wet
highly recommend this course for a short 9 holes or a long 27holes since it has 3 nine holes coures
Golfnow good deal
Good course for the money. Went to at 12pm, the pace is good then, but see many old people, I could see pace problem.
Wide open
Overall nice course, a lot of straight holes that double back on the previous hole. Consequently, you're sometimes waiting for the group on the hole behind or ahead to clear their errant drives before you can tee off. The greens were a bit fluffy, but no complaints. Overall great value!
Sunnybrook
Great course to train on or have a nice relaxed round.
OK when not crazy crowded like usual
After telling myself I'd never go there again, I recently gave it another try. I actually found a good deal to golf there (it's usually wayyyy too expensive for this quality of course) and it was pretty empty. These two rare course factors changed my mind about it quite a bit. I can see myself returning IF an uncrowded time/reasonable price presents itself again. ONLY IF...
Nice in the Fall
Great course to play in the fall, very few leaves,
Sunnybrook
It was a nice course to go out and mess around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good course to work on short game
A good course for beginners or to work on your short game. A few tough holes . End of season so greens and tee boxes were plugged. Good cheap course to play.
Great Value
My Husband and I had an amazing time. The course was challenging and in better shape than I thought it would be for the price and location. Place looks a little "old" when you first drive up, but the grounds and greens are surprisingly well kept. There are three different courses, so we moved very quickly without much of wait time. The only complaint is that some holes are confusing to what direction they are going. We drove our ball the wrong direction once and shot up to the wrong green once. We laughed it off cause we were have so much fun and not busy, so didn't feel pressured.
Great Value
My son and I played here for his 22nd birthday and we had an amazing time. Well maintained course, which was surprising. When you first drive up, it is questionable. We were truly amazing how different the course is compared to the outside of the bowling alley and pro shop. We moved very quickly because the course was not to busy and has 3 different courses. We played the green and orange course. They both were challenging enough.
Worst course around
My wife and I tried to play this course. We waited 10 minutes on every tee box, and at least 5 minutes for every approach. The women's tee boxes are only 20 to 30 yards past the men's including on par 5s. On top of that, the course is a total goat track. We definitely will not be coming back to Sunnybroke
Well maintained close to home
Nicely maintained course. Enjoyed afternoon with 13yr old son. Purchased on Golf Now at great price. Did not like how tee times played out. Had too many golfers on one hole at a time. Had to skip last hole, too backed up.
first time out
My first time playing Sunnybrook and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly, the course was in really good shape, the greens were especially nice. All in all, pace was slowed by outings, but that's golf. I'm not in any hurry so I don't mind at all. I would definitely play here again, and recommend it to others. I played 18 holes for $14.49, with a cart, on a beautiful summer day, on a nice course - what more can you ask for?
Great place for starters in the sport
This is a Great place for starters in the sport. Its a pretty easy place to play and its usually not packed. People that golf there are not snobs if you hit on their fairway on accident. I have golfed here 5+ times this summer
Poor customer service
Old man in the pro was very rude. Course was nice but to close together at times.
Al has been there forever, and yes, customer service is definitely not his forte. I went there with a $50 gift certificate and he kept insisting it was a 50% off coupon!
The Staff was Terrible!
I had a 9am tee time and the man behind the counter in the pro shop seemed confused by me booking through Golf Now. The bar was not open so I could not order a Bloody Mary like I do at most courses. When we made the turn and wanted to buy a few beers (since we never saw the beer cart lady on the course) we had to wait ten minutes to be served and there was no one in front of us. When we got back on the course the two groups in front of us decide to merge together to have a 8 players which slowed play down considerably. We tried and tried to call the pro shop to see if they could have them break back up but no one seemed to know how to transfer the call to the pro shop. We paid $30 a person to golf here which isn't that much but I wouldn't pay more than $20 to play this course!
Avoid this place on Wednesdays
There were a lot of leagues here on the Wednesday evening I went. The pace of play was painfully slow, and I found myself trapped in between groups that were part of a league. Multiple groups were backed up on the holes. As someone who likes to play each hole within 10 to 15 minutes, this place was not fun. Also, $26 for nine holes was way too much for the pace of play. I should have spent the extra gas money, and headed out to Stony Creek.
I called one time and asked if they had any outings, they said "No wide open" Got there and two nines were closed to an outing, everybody forced on one 9. Half an hour to tee off, then a 3 hour nine.
